Again West Ham lead the way in building a future for our glorious club.

This week, West Ham went into partnership with Havering college to enhance & maximise our Academy boys talents, Article here.
I was only saying to a fellow author of this blog ( Headmaster1 ) yeterday, that Eggert and Bjorg are great believers in home grown talent, not only our boys but also our girls, and i must say the girls are very important to us too.
Hopefully one day we can once again not have to buy from the likes of Newcastle or any other club, when we will be using our own boys fresh from our Academy, like we did in the 60’s.
My daughter Whitney (17), plays for the Gills, and is a ardent hammers supporter, i know her hope in life is to one day play for West Ham Ladies, but for now she is still enhancing her skills to become one of Englands finest Lady defenders, She also studies football at college and studying for her Licences and Certificates to be a coach, She has all my support and love to help her.

Having said that, even tho I have a daughter of my own (too young yet to show an interest), I can’t say I really get the girls playing footy thing. Dinosaur aint I?
