Barwick’s mob - damned if they do, damned if they don’t?

Have you heard the news re the FAs search for a new England manager? Apparently, in response to the criticism that none of the committee are ‘football men’, they are now set to ask just about anybody who is or was anybody about their views on who the successor to McClaren should be. The list comprises such illustrious names as Charlton and Beckenbauer, Wenger, Ferguson (Alex not Barry you understand), Hoddle and Taylor as well as some of the higher profile current players.
So, do people now say that they are displaying a total lack of leadership and vision or that they are practising a democratic model of inclusive decision-making?
One wonders how far these disparate personalities will give Barwick and his cronies the same message - or will they simply end up with a wide variety of opinions, resulting in them needing to go with their gut instinct / available and willing candidates, which they could have done in the first place!

1st thing The headmaster; Your comments are freedom of your opinion and i applaud you for that.
Regarding our English FA; Who decides to pick our FA bigwigs? should it not be a voting system by every league club manager under the FA control? I believe that to be the demorcratic way, then we can have an FA that has experience and knowledge of English Football.
As for Barwick, maybe it is a good thing asking advice from established elite ex/managers on there opinion, i would love Mourinho to get the job, as i know he will have great influence on the squad performing at its best.
