West Ham 1-1 Reading
Dec 26, 2007 West Ham News
Not a great day for the Hammers result wise, but not the worst.
Now in 9th place, but that isn’t due to the players skill and determination, its due to clubs around us playing worse.
Video Highlights HERE
Not much to say about the Match, except well done to reading for putting on a brave performance with only 10 men, and when the hell are we going to start playing well at home.
Ashton seems slow, Cole was less than useful, Parker again gets my admiration, and definitely Solano too, But my hat goes off to Shorey, for a fantastic pass to Kitson.
Great game if your Reading fan, Boring if your a Hammers!! The sooner Bellamy, Bowyer come back, the better.

It really was atrocious Joe. We were negative, lacked creativity, lacked fitness in one or two key areas even. We often defended corners and free kicks with 11 men - at one point we had all 11 inside our own box!!
9th place flatters us big time and you are right to point out the woeful performances of the likes of Newcastle and Blackburn as far as our falsely elevated league status is concerned - tho clearly we do have the ability to play away, and with some panache. The home form is desperate - nothing short of this. Even the 2 victories there were lucky.
It has to change Joe, and it aint just down to injuries mate - no way. The clock is ticking for AC big style…….
