Elite Managers (Part 2) West Ham

Way back in August last year after 3 or 4 matches played, I knew that the 2007/2008 season was going to be different than previous seasons, i was so sure, and decided to write an article about it, http://ironworker.wordpress.com/2007/08/27/elite-managers/.

 Curbs - Reality check needed

I think Curbs could be one of the next to go, especially if we lose against Fulham on Saturday, we all know he hasnt had it easy with the players being injured week after week, but BG wont put up with games lost that should be won easily.

Lets hope we get a good result on Saturday, and give Curbs a bit more breathing space, Like Sven said,

” you cant sack the players, you cant sack the directors, so who do you sack? the manager”

If Curbs can keep us in top 10 this season, he may still be with us next season.

i think Curbs is doing a great job and is one of the best managers in the league. I know alot of fans are not to keen but give him a chance.

I actually think Brooking is still the best (nice to see you on here, mate) is right overall. I have criticised Curbs oft in the past but that is all part and parcel of the game we love, for me. Better the devil you know I say; who else for crying out loud? I’ve heard the shouts for Billic / Lippi etc but there is something about a good ol’ East Ender that has the romantic in me purring with satisfaction - for all his faults! Go Curbs…..

    Are you Newcastle in disguise.

It seems many West Ham supporters have forgotten that West Ham have been relegated 3 time in 20 years and nearly got relegated again last season after Pardew gave you the worst start ever.

You havn’t one anything since 1980, so why the hell do you think Curbs is no good for you. Accept Curbs will keep you out the relegation scrap, you are a mid table club at best with a small chance of winning a domestic cup or sneaking into a uefa spot.

If you out Curbs things will more than likely fall apart.

    Get real!
