Real Madrid, football’s highest-earning club, might have made about £24.1m more than Manchester United last season but they would probably need double that to acquire the English club’s biggest asset – Cristiano Ronaldo, below. The gap between Europe’s two richest clubs is narrowing rapidly as English clubs enjoy a surge of popularity and income, as shown by the Deloitte Football Money League today

what u guys think you would be anywhere near the top 30 this season? dont make me laugh peasants
How do they know who will be out of the top 20 by next year?
Howa re spurs going to lose 35m+ of income you retards
Turnover is vanity profit is sanity. These figures are for revenue and do not reflect the true wealth of the club that is achieved through earnings. Manchester United are bt far the wealthiest club in the world. Madrid made little profit during the year, Arsenal have many extraordinary items in their accounts that have inflated their figures, Chelsea made a massive loss on these turnover figures.
Profit is true wealth.
Cheer up Wet Spam you are still one of the top ten richest clubs in london…Just
I think we need a maths lesson here. Liverpool will only go down if they get knocked out of the CL earlier than last year. Spurs are a very rich club and have always been in the top 15, regardless of their performances. At the moment the list shows they are the best supported team outside the CL. Nest year their revenue will go up because they will have played more cup matches, including a Wembley final. They may fall one place because Juventus would normally be in the top 10, but thats all. Newcastle are there because no matter what rubbish is served up at St James’ Park, that large ground is always full. West Ham are extremely unlikely to make the top 20.
spurs are still in the uefa cup and have the carling cup final to look forward too. where are wet spam going to raise all this extra revenue. mug!!
lol, sorry if i burst your bubble spurs fans, you must have thought it was for this season.
The Wet cramps are just bitter, we have been in the top15 consistently because, (i am 1 example)we have a much bigger fan base that actually go out there and spend money on merchandise.
So live in hope that 1 day you may overtake the mighty Spurs.
Out of all the Teams on the list, Spurs seem to be the most upset about this post! some have even gone into statistics, but its good to see passionate supporters fighting for their club, COYI.
I don’t get what the beef is about this mail. The list is a load of crap. If on one hand you have Leeds in as one of the top 20 (albeit a few years ago) clubs and at the same time being wound up in the high court, what is it proving? ManU are a huge club but most of what they earn is paying off the debt the current owners created when buying the club.
What really matters is trophies, full grounds and keeping the fans happy. All this list shows is how much thy’ve made out of everybody.
