Curbishley suspects Enemy on Board – West Ham

Curbishley had his players training at 9am yesterday, on their day off, after Sunday’s debacle at White Hart Lane, there were no grand addresses, no sit-down talks. Nor have there been any ultimatums from the directors. Although Curbishley suspects he has an enemy on the board, he feels cheered by the attitude of Bjorgolfur Gudmundsson, the chairman who, like his manager, is not prone to impulsive decisions and understands the value of long-term development.

My advice to Curbs is to prove this Enemy wrong, get results as best you can. The Fans do not actually mind losing 1-0 or 2-1, its the lack of performances like Parker and Solano always seem to show that we want, 3 consecutive 4-0’s is not a good sign for even the smallest of clubs.

The Fans worry that Mid Table safety and complacency has set in as it did with Curbs time with Charlton.

We know this season is virtually finished for us and are quite happy with 9th – 10th place, maybe all we have to look forward to is knowing the Spuds will hopefully finish behind us, which will be fine in my eyes.

Prove us wrong Curbs, thats all we ask.

I cant wait for nani to take control of the purchase of new players, we have lots of players to get rid of, Ashton, Parker, Ljungberg, Bellamy, Solano, and we should get some good stock in after that.

  • Jimbo

Hammeron yur mad if you think we should get rid of parker.
The Enemy has to be Mike Lee, but i would think he has West ham’s interest at heart, this is a guy who can move mountains, he brought the Olympics to London

i can’t believe i’ve just witnessed somebody [hammeron] claiming that we should get rid of ashton parker ljunberg bellamy and solano.

    HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

  • Sam

in fact, while we’re at it perhaps we should get rid of mark noble, rob green and upson

    seriously

  • dan

are you mad Hammeron and Sam why would we get rid of Ashton, Parker, Ljungberg, Bellamy, Solano, mark noble, rob green and upson there the bloody rason we are where we are what kind of idiot would sell in form noble have you forgot what he has done for us we should be getting rid of ferdinand, cole, gabbidon,Quashie, mullins, pantsil. and then we should be giving youngsters a try like tomkins, collison and sears show some wst ham youth like we used to.

    Hammeron, you’re a moron!!!

When fully fit, Scott Parker will be West Ham’s best player.

I would also love to see a good run with Ashton and Bellamy up front.

  • It is for me blatently obvious that Curbishley is satisfied with 10th spot. With all the injuries we have why did he not bring in a striker in the transfer window ? His biggest mistake for me was not taking off LBM ( who shouldn’t be on the team anyway )when it was obvious to everyone else a red card was on it’s way.why dosn’t he give the young players a chance ?I’ve no more patience with him.So lets get rid of him and get someone who can brihg westham further.

    dan, i was being sarcastic

of course we shouldn’t get rid of those players….we need a little patience with some of them, and the team as a whole need a direction to pul the same way in

th eplayers are looking slightly lost, deliusional and un-inspired….im not going to come on here and say curbishly needs to be sacked because i believe that having faith in the same manager produces results (moyes). However if it becomes increasingly apparant that with a fully fit squad he is unable to direct the team to higher levels, then questions really should be asked

he should never have got as much credit as he did for keeping us up – it only lulled us into a fals sense of security

    lets see

  • Marleeeen depreciation society

i don’t think much of parker at all, he gives the ball away every other pass. ljungberg won’t go as nobody else would pay him as much for the next 3 years. solano is the smartist player we have.ferdinand is overrated and a liability, cole will make a great provider to any striker and gives his all, gabbidon should stay along with collins as all too often needed cover,Quashie we might get a tenner for, mullins is our most underrated player and should play every game, pantsil it’s just never happened for and both bellamy and ashton will be world class if they ever get a long enough run of games. seers should be tried out a few times now as we have little to win or lose and curbs should go at the end of the season, he should be shot at dawn alongside boa morte without a blindfold- only kidding.

Whatever you opinion of parker, bellamy, ljungberg, ashton, solano, and dyer they are proven top class premier players when fit and along with faubert, upson, green, neill, noble and the 3 or 4 academy players form the basis of a top 6 premier side. I would sell all the rest of them!

  • dan

Marleeeen your one of the biggest retards ive seen its like you do not know anything about the hammers

  • dan

and if you think cole is good you are a definite retard

  • Scott lane

Some people do not know wot they are on about!!!!

No we wont sell ashton or bellamy or parker etc….
They are our decent players who are actually likely to improve us when fit and consolidated in the team…

I agree with pantsil, solano, cole, zamora (i know its harsh but he’s never gonna be euro class)
