Injustice against Chelsea and Everton and the whole Premier League

As spectators of West Ham, a decision by the Premier league to postpone matches at short notice is appalling, Tickets will be refunded of course, but what about the other inconveniences caused by decisions made by incompetent members of the EPL?

The Premier League committed an injustice against Chelsea and Everton (players and supporters) by postponing the game from March 29, 2008 to April 17, 2008. This arbitrary decision has greatly inconvenienced the players and spectators alike!

While the Premier league and certain members of the media can defend their decision with disgraceful excuses, they have told Chelsea and Everton that their opinions count for nothing. Chelsea and Everton were looking forward to the fixture on the March 29, 2008 only to have their dreams ruined by an arbitrary decision on the part of the premier league. The worst part is that Chelsea will now play two games within 72 hours of each other as Chelsea will play Wigan on April 14, 2008. Playing both the games within 72 hours of each other will definitely affect the health of the Chelsea players, won’t it?

I have some questions for the premier league: Did you ever take into account that there were people who planned in advance? There were fathers ready to take their sons or daughters to their first football match. What about those who paid for the tickets for the March 29, 2008 fixture? What about those who took time off from their work in the private or public sector to see Chelsea play Everton on March 29, 2008? Does the premier league have any answer to these questions? Does the media take into account these people who watch the television and want to witness a live match?

What the Premier league has done (as well as certain members of the media) is an act of injustice. It appears that the Premier league and certain members of the media are concerned about publicity and a perfect televised game than the welfare of the teams such as Chelsea and Everton (which also includes the team members and the supporters of the club). The Premier league cannot correct its error but maybe it should take the big step and explain to the supporters of the Chelsea and Everton Football clubs and the teams, the reasons. If it were for me, I would have done my own version of the Tiswas show (1970s) and given the people who participated in this decision a pie in the face and water.
