NEWSNOWRangers and Celtic in the English Premier League
Its a question on every Glaswegians mind, If they, Celtic and Rangers left the SPL for the EPL, would they ever get in Europe again?
Do they want to leave Scotland because they’re going so very far in Europe – thereby proving they’re too good for the SPL and everything below it? Or do they continually harbour dreams of a big golden invite to the English Premier League because they’re doing so very badly in Europe and thereby need to sharpen their teeth on the more rigorous competition to be found in a bigger, more challenging domestic set-up? Are they great because they’re making it to the continental last 16 or are they poor because they can’t win the Euro trophies?
How would the English Teams & Supporters feel about Celtic & Rangers joining the EPL, would it be more fair if they started in the Coca Cola Championship league?
