Impressive - West Ham 2-2 Newcastle (Video Highlights)
By Rooster
I was impressed with West Ham in the first 41 minutes until bad defending let in The Toons 1st goal.
West Ham and Newcastle played out a see-sawing, if largely meaningless, end-of-season 2-2 draw. West Ham went 2-0 up inside 25 minutes through Mark Noble and Dean Ashton. By half-time it was all square, Obafemi Martins pulling one back and then Geremi deflecting the equaliser in with his shoulder.
Ashton could have made it 3-2 near the end but a great save from Harper gave the Toons a well deserved point.

I thought Faubert was impressive today, and it was great to hear the crowd get behind the team. Can’t wait for next season, and lets hope that in the summer Nani can get a couple of quality players in to join the ranks, aswell as putting this injury crisis behind us.Fair result

Curbishley,do yourself a favour and send boa forty towers on holiday,he has been off form all season and was awful again today,he hasnt scored a single goal and if you would of brought on solano or even cole and moved zamora left we would of won.Again you got it wrong! Better football but they were there for the taking.

Have only managed to see the highlights, but it’s clear from their first goal that Tomkins isn’t quite at the premiership level yet. An experienced defender would have tracked back and tried to prevent a shot rather than just flinging out a leg like that. Also why wasn’t Sears on the bench instead of Boa Morte?
