Its time to go Curbs!

Has Curbishley reached a point where he has done all he can for the Hammers Team & Fans? 58% of West Ham fans thinks he has in a recent poll.

Poor Eggy was blamed for paying over the odds on wages to bring players in? when the truth be known, it was because Curbs was a manager that a majority of elite players didn’t want to play for, and Eggy had no choice but to bribe players to sign up.

Why is it, that we have such an injury crisis all season? Obviously Curbs is not directly involved, but why as a manager did he wait until the end of season to find out what the problem was? this website knew there was a problem back in October.

Lets face it Curbs, the players are unhappy and even more so are the fans who made it quite obvious on Saturday.

Its not fair on the team when the fans show there emotions at you on a match day, and chanting displeasure is a tradition of football, the fans want you gone and i dare say so do the players.

Its time to go Curbs, go with your reputation intact and your head held high.

Like a politician Curbs has put a tonne of spin on the weekend’s events and cannot get his head around the truth:

Trying to make it seem that the fans are unappreciative towards the players who he says are doing a cracking job is completely avoiding the ACTUAL reason why a vast number of supporters in the Boleyn on Saturday booed and showed their anger towards the MANAGER and NOT the players.

There is a massive difference to what Curbs thinks the fans are saying and what is actually the case, this just underlines the fact that he is not on the same wavelength as the fans as a lot of us thought he would be; being an ex player and West Ham through and through - just goes to show the old players don’t always make the best managers….

We are grateful to those players that are performing; we all KNOW that the fans will have differing opinions and ideas on team selection and tactics etc, BUT 34,000 people can see when it isn’t working; take this weekend – Derby came out in the second half and put us under pressure, we were struggling, we needed a change, it was blatantly obvious, but it took us conceding a goal before curbs bothered to change things.

THAT is what annoys most fans, another thing is the fact that he makes changes based on elapsed TIME - - like the 60 minute mark, NO MATTER what is happening in the game, he wont change it immediately, yes Carlton Cole scored, and yes we won, but it was the manner, the fact he again sticks with Boa Morte, Lucas Neil - -

Derby are an Immensely POOR team, totally out of their depth in the premier league but they made us look average, that cannot happen!

We are tenth, safe, but still we play conservative negative football………

    Things need to change.

Isn’t it about time you and others stoppped banging the same old drum. Curbishley deserves a season without long term injuries to key players. Then, and only then, should he be judged.

I was a firm supporter of Curbs up until recently, now i am sick and tired of his tactics…
We nearly at 1 point had as many injuries as Aston Villa have as a full squad.
Curbs would be better off managing a team like Derby, but only in the championship league, he has proved he does not have the capabilities to run a premeier league team, and i am sick of wasting money on a season ticket to watch crap football. IT IS TIME TO GO CURBS.

Harry & TopHammer i for 1 can not go through another miserable season like this one, fair enough you are entitled to your opinion, but tell us what we seem to be missing and why you think he deserves another season, and be honest, he made no attempts to buy players in january, when obviously we needed some.

Doesn’t this isdiot of an arrogant man realise the fans are fed up with him, him pathetic style of management his limited vision non existent tactical knowledge and its time for him to go before he destroys the club and puts us back in the Championship, only then will he get fired or maybe he will walk away like he did at Charlton when he realised it was too late to save them. Take you back to the first game of the season when we were stuffed by Man City, Curbs response on MOTD ” I hadnt thought too much about the game” he let the players go out there and be torn to shreds as he hadnt prepared properly for the game, how we are still in 10th place is a miracle, I think we are more lucky as Spurs have failed to take advantage of the situation and win every week, Newcastle are just begining to fire had that happend 10 games ago we’d be at least 12th, Im putting money on the Hammers losing the last 3 games of the season but to go hand in hand with the loss will be the same old “injury” excuse that we’ve had all season, for crying out loud this man is a SMALL CLUB MANAGER WITH SMALL CLUB MENTALITY the sooner the board wake up and see this the sooner we can turn things around, get Bilic before it’s too late and don’t let this Italian idiot have too much in put we will be flooded with 3rd Rate Italian has beens, yes thats 3rd Rate and they are way past 2nd rate, we’ll pay millions of punds for old crocked wanna be’s!!!! Im SO SICK OF CURBS I HATE THE BLOKE someone PLEASE FIRE HIS ASS!!!!

OOOOHHHHH Harry, Cole scored another Goal this season, that must be a damn good reason for giving Curbs another year to destroy the club further, I can remember two goals now he’s scored this season, it may well be more but only the two come to mind, he’s a top quality striker eh!! Yeah for my pub team!!! then i’d use him as a sub!! Clearly Curbs DOESN NOT KNOW WHAT HE IS DOING!!! 34000 fans cant be wrong!!

“he proved what a bunch of prats you were when he brought Cole on and scored.”

You’re joking right? Noble and Freddie created that goal. All Cole had to do was let it hit him (which is a bit difficult for him, granted). Curbs shouldn’t be given a pass when we narrowly beat a team with 1 win on the season. Derby outplayed us for nearly 20 minutes in the 2nd half.

What has curbs done to deserve the immediate sack?
Yes he has not played the west ham way I agree and yes maybe some questionable signings but we are in 10th and likely to stay there and above spurs who in reality should be higher in the league with their squad.BG will be quite happy with this but he will not be happy with his chances of filling a larger stadium with so much unrest among the fans and this may be the reason for replacing him at some point. Big Frank made a very valid point ‘why did he not sign players in january when we needed them? The answer is maybe he really believes that LBM, mullins, cole, etherington, zamora, pantsil etc are actually good enough and if that is the case he really has to go sooner rather than later. The fact is west ham boy or not he does not appear to understand what is required to run this club. With a fully fit squad he could put out a formidable team led by ashton, bellamy with ljungberg, faubert as wings, dyer, parker central midfield and similar back four as usual, brilliant green in goal and give anybody a real game but this has not happened due to the injuries.I have been a supporter of curbishley up until the LBM show at spurs and withdrew my support on this matter alone but I am confident BG will not sack him but may offer him a move sideways to assist somwhere else in the club. I am sure that despite reports of a 50,000 stadium he will want minimum 60,000 and fill it week in week out. Curbs should be very mindful of this notion as he will want a manager who can take good care of his customers!
