Latest Transfer Rumours: West Ham United

Latest Rumours from FootballRumours.com

BIG the Hammers transfers this year, as the board will giv Curbs one more season to establish the Hammers as serious Europe contenders. They will offer Curbs quite a lot of money to spend, but will also suggest that he clears out some of the useless players:

Ins: Zarate: the £18 million rated forward is considered to be a future world class forward in the eyes of Curbs and would love to bring him to the boyeln ground.
Toni: the connection with our new director, Nani, is the only reason the intalian will join.
Shorey: Curbs have been trying to sign him since January 07 and will finally succeed with a £6 million pound offer. If Shorey decides not to sign a contract, however, then look for Wayne Bridge to be in the claret and blue next season.

Goalkeeper: While many people at the Hammers are hopeful of Robert Green staying, the lure of European football from Tottenham or Arsenal may be too tempting for him. In this unlikely case, then look for either Cudicini, Carson or possibly Valdes.

all of these are very strong possiblities

Has anyone any idea how Alan Curbishly is re organizing the physio/medical dept prior to next season.
After him buying players either ejected or rejected from various clubs lets hope and pray this is not repeated 08/09, there are so many players out injured (is it a record )its difficult to remember who is actually in the squad of, dare l say it, players. Newcastle as a club must have been delighted to offload the crocks and their salaries. The Physio dept at West Ham must be seriously flawed. The Manager will be treading on thin ice if this season is repeated, get sufficent points to be in a safe position then start allowing the players to reduce the effort they put into the games. We may be in 10th position in the league,(the comfort zone),its been hell watching and supporting a bunch of none triers, make no mistake some of our players at times have really not put themselves out to win in fact one of them went out of his way to get sent off. Toni appears to be a sound choice for a striker but Zarate at 18 million I have not seen enough of him and seems expensive. I would also be extremely disappointed if we do not sign a class left winger and 1 central midfield to play with parker(when he ia fit).Shorey would be an improvement but we need to make 6 or 7 top signings to replace the dozen that should leave. Regarding the injuries and physio problems I understand that we are taking advice from the leading experts in sports medicine(Roehampton University?)so there should not be a reapeat of this seasons farce!

European football at Tottenham? Well they are in the UEFA Cup thanks to their cup win, but they are well off the pace in the league and I would think if Greenie was going to leave in search of European football he’d go somewhere that was more likely to be achieving it through the league season after season.
