New West Ham Away Kit (PICS)

West Ham have unveiled their new away strip to be used for the next season. Umbro are the shirt designers and this new kit sees the Hammers reverting back to the sky blue strip since 2005. The club’s other colours, claret and white are displayed on the top of the shirt. The club’s logo is just over the heart, while XL Holidays’ logo, the club’s sponsor, is placed in the center of the shirt.
The new shirt will be officially launched on Thursday 22 May.

I thought BG was a businessman, a kit can bring in an extra 3-5million in a season, but whoever designed this kit needs shooting, and so does the club for accepting the design, i was hoping Nike now they own Umbro was going to bring a kit out. Unbro Sux big time..

i feel slightly sick. Umbro are truly gash. And XL HOLIDAYS spewed up all over the front? i’ve not bought a kit since fila made it. Thanks for saving me 40 odd quid umbro. IF YOU WEAR THIS YOU’LL LOOK LIKE A SMURF! And a twat.

Football clubs are about identity, highlighting the difference, the history, the ethos. Being different from…..

Instead we get a crap standard template of a shirt that is peddled out to all clubs from all leagues.
Each club shirt in the PL should look different, status in this league should dictate this.

I wasn’t all that impressed with the last away shirt!

No shirt sale from me im afraid BG.

what is the matter with you lot?

this is one of the best west ham away kits in ages, i am really fed up with copying other clubs colours, especially the white kit with navy shorts of 2 seasons ago, hated it so much as it resembled the yids. yeah it at nike, but lets face it who we kidding to get a nike kit?! that will not happen until the end of 2011 season, we got another 3 kits to go through yet.

chim chimeny chim chimeny chim chim cheroo
we are those B******s in CLARET AND BLUE!!!!

    not navy not white…

thats our colours boys, be proud!

It looks cheap, like a PJ’s gross disgusting childish piece of crap, no way do I want one even if they were free, very poor with matching shorts, who the hell thought of and approved this, I guess BG if its cheap he’ll go for it, tight arse git, bring back Dark Blue was one of the best selling away strips and ditch Umbro their designs are crap and the sponsor makes the shirt look tacky, maybe you could make the logo a little bigger, it’ll hide the nasty in your face BLUE!!!

until we get into europe we will get an even nicer kit… fact but for now the kit is top!

  • Changing kits season by season will surely hurt the pocket of the fans. :)

The more i look at it, the more i like it!

  • Pepin - Czech Hammer

    I like it.
It is simple and it combines sky blue with claret.
Yes, I like it and I will probably buy one.

love it- not the spurs or wimbledon kits just gonean improvement would be to ditch the white, add another claret sripe and move the stripes down a bit. like a proper hammers away kit

Apparently it was just going to have ‘XL’ on the front but to make the players feel at home, they added ‘holidays’ when we reached 40 points… I’d buy any shirt that didn’t have a sponsor’s logo, makes me feel like some sort of sandwichboard man. Looks like another replica ’50s shirt for me…
