Ljungberg: Arsenal are my past, West Ham is my Future!
Freddie Ljungberg would never say a bad word about his old team Arsenal, and every Hammers knows that,
Russian newspapers stating that he slated Wenger was a load of Bollox to sell newspapers and and cause media hype, and the rubbish story did what it was meant to do.
But i am seriously impressed with Ljungberg of late, and especially his response to the sad Russian media, his response was
“I haven’t done an interview with this Russian newspaper and none of the quotes have any substance, I certainly didn’t make those comments.”
His agent said
“His move to West Ham was inspired by the vision for the club and the strong interest from Alan Curbishley.
“The suggestion that Freddie left Arsenal in order to stay in the Premiership and play against them is not only utter rubbish but is a complete falsehood.”
Now i am not a great lover of Wenger or Arsenal, but he is a manager that gets the job done and every player in his team seems happy to play football for him and the fans.
Ljungberg now has the job next season, without any injuries to show this great club that he still possesses the quality and skill that he had with Arsenal, He is, in my opinion, an excellent player to have signed last season despite injuries, and i have confidence in Ljungberg, Bellamy, Dyer, Ashton, Sears, Tomkins as part of the team that will finish West Ham in a Euro place next season.

Gooner here (thought I better mention that straight off!).I think the trouble you may have with Freddie is he can’t do the ‘up and down’ job he used to anymore, so you have to find a way to fit him into a plan.Personally I think the best place to play him would be just behind/off the main striker. He may have lost some speed but his ability to be in the right place at the right time could easily net him 10+ goals from a free role.Good luck for next season - except for two games!!!

I agree with Ralph and ashamed that Tunadog might be a Gunners fan, Thers always 1 bad apple in the barrel, hes probably a Russian fan.Good luck to Ljunberg you will always be a hero to us, and 1 day a hero to the Hammers.
