Transfer Trouble: Feeling sorry for Newcastle?
By Stu Granger
This a great idea letting Readers have a go at Writing.
I was browsing through the websites and read this Headline about Newcastle, The headline Said How Many More will turn down the Toon?.
It is true and the must be feeling very dejected, Gudjohnsen, Dunne, does not want to go there and even some 17 year old said hed rather stay with Carlisle for another 4 years.
I was filling up with tears, and i could feel this really big lump in my throat, Now come on guys, its not funny, cant we help the Magpies out?
we could offload LBM, Cole, Spector, Gabidon, and Ethers.
Its all in a good cause.

So you want to get rid of LBM & Etherington. Do tell me who is going to play on the left side of midfield if your brilliant plan comes to fruition
June 8th, 2008 at 11:12 PM
Its just a shame we almost took you best player off you….I reckon thats why your trying to discard your worthless squad players off on us!
I mean after all, Most of our players go to West Ham to end their careers in the bright lights of London! Solano, Dyer, Bowyer, Parker
Submit this article again on 31st of August and we will see whos writing “witty” blogs then……”geezer”
June 8th, 2008 at 11:13 PM
How many have turned down the mighty ‘ammers in the past then? Jump on the ‘take the pi$$’ out of Newcastle bandwagon if you like but it may just come back to bite you on the a$$!BTW talk about offloading your crap to the Toon, how does Parker, Dyer, Bowyer, Solano grab you?
June 8th, 2008 at 11:13 PM
Why? So you can then buy our rejects? Solano, Dyer, Bellamy, Bowyer, Parker…….all brilliant arent they?!
Are you feeling sorry for yourself being an exclusive member of paying over the odds for players that were massively injury prone? Come on bid for Viduka and Shola!!!
Or are you one of those freaks who believe everything they read in the papers?
HAHAHA you’re also after Stephen Carr, brilliant!
June 8th, 2008 at 11:15 PM
No, you have our injury prone rejects…bowyer, dyer, bellamy, parker, solano…not the other way round
June 8th, 2008 at 11:16 PM
Its omly funny because we did the same to you last year - Dyer, Parker, Solano, Boywer 20 million thank you very much
June 8th, 2008 at 11:16 PM
Ill tell you who could play on the left for you - Laurent Robert! Now suck your horrible head in you bubble blowing joker.
June 8th, 2008 at 11:27 PM
A team full of our rejects and you try & take the Piss? What a jellied eel eating Cock sucker!
Thanks for taking all that shite off us, especially Dyer!
June 8th, 2008 at 11:34 PM
C’mon toon fans, the writer is clearly a reject among his own. He writes an article and 1 hammer fan bothers to post an answer the rest comes from toon fans.
June 8th, 2008 at 11:49 PM
Dyer - Good PlayerParker - Good PlayerSolano - Quality SubBowyer - I believe WHU took him, and he spent most of the season sidlined. Then Newcastle signed him. Both clubs are bonkers.
June 9th, 2008 at 12:41 AM
I think you lot are ridiculous to say that Parker is shit! He may maybe injury prone but not crap.
June 9th, 2008 at 12:58 AM
What a laugh - parker ran round in circles like a headless chicken, bellamy and bowyer - over rated thugs - thick as shit, nobby still a place in our hearts, but getting tired.
June 9th, 2008 at 4:42 AM
This is hilarious, talk about cast the rod and reel the toons in…and whats even more funny is the only answer you toons give is the same one dimensional bore you gave the other day…saying we have your rejects. You loved Solano so don’t talk out your backsides, get some real originality going and liven up your banter instead of bitching so easily.
June 9th, 2008 at 4:45 AM
And to the couple toons that did praise Solano, thats good sense, but to knock Bellamy and Parker, get a brain.
June 9th, 2008 at 6:55 AM
Dave Hall, Parker is a toon reject, he was awful in the last half of the season before he left in the summer. Bellamy was already a permanantly injured player when you signed him. Not a toon reject, but a bad signing nevertheless.
I’m happy to admit that we’re having a terrible time in the transfer market, but we’ve got a better first eleven than you lot (I’m talking about the ones that play, not the big names who never do!) so if it’s ok with you, you can keep your terrible players!
June 9th, 2008 at 9:36 AM
This is marginally hilarious. Newcastles rejects sitting in the top half of the league whilst Newcastle scrape out of the relegation battle in the closing weeks of the season. Rejects? We got their best players. LOOOOOOOL
June 9th, 2008 at 9:41 AM
Solano gave us most of our highlights in an otherwise drab season. Parker was immense once he got fit. Bellamy looked awesome before injury, and Bowyer was excellent in the first half of the season, providing much needed goals from midfield. We really missed him when he got injured. We all know that, when fit, there aren’t many better than Kieron Dyer, so hopefully we’ll get to see plenty of that next season whilst the Geordies and their tactically naive manager struggle again.
June 9th, 2008 at 10:18 AM
Grow up people, just because W Ham have former Toon players doesn’t mean there our rejects but there are a few Hammers I’d love at the Toon such as Ashton, Noble and Ferdinand.
June 9th, 2008 at 10:21 AM
all the players that left newcastle for the spammers couldnt jump ship quick enough. to say they are your rejects is laughable as you would love them players in your mediocre squad now. Newcastle are an unimportant club up north who wont attract any decent players and will struggle against relegation again next season. The spammers are also a nothing team but at least they show ambition.coys

Let’s get back to how this all started, which was with one of your pathetic chimney sweeps taking a needless swipe at the Toon.Fact is, both West Ham and Newcastle are about as good (or bad) as each other at the moment. Yes you finished a place or two higher this year but when you look at the shite we’ve had going on this year it isn’t really that surprising. However going forward, you lot are on your arses and sliding downhill. Curbishley has never done anything more than keep average sides in mid table positions. Keegan on the other hand almost won us the league. Once he’d got the team turned round, we were playing like a top 4 team again for the last 8 or 9 games.Would we rather have Bellamy or Owen? Was anyone sad to see Dyer leave?Did we laugh our arses off when you paid all that money for Parker? You lot are even stupid enough not to renew Solano’s contract.
June 9th, 2008 at 10:43 AM
Yes Matthew. Very true. Bobby Moore won us the World Cup. Maybe getting him back would bring us the success you got last year. Was Dyer keen to stay? Is Owen finished? Was Solano our 4th best Right Winger? Was Parker excellent last season, and voted our signing of the season? Are those players above Newcastle in the league? I think the answers are obvious.
June 9th, 2008 at 11:45 AM
Toonfan you don’t really know your football if you say Bellamy is a bad player, and to say Parker is too astounds me of your lack of observation. So no problem mate we will keep them players
June 9th, 2008 at 11:48 AM
And paul t,just who do you support because you first slate Newcastle and then called the hammers a nothing club…let me guess, your a glory hunter.
June 9th, 2008 at 11:57 AM
coys. He’s spurs.
June 9th, 2008 at 12:09 PM
The fact that you bother to write an article about newcastle says everything about the relative stature of the 2 clubs. I doubt if any nufc fan would bother to write an article about west ham. The facts are that you paid way over the odds for dyer, parker is overrated and won’t give you any goals from midfield, bellamy is world class on his day but unfortunately those days only occur about 4 or 5 times a season (when he isn’t injured), bowyer is inconsistent and solano was brilliant but has had his day. We won’t be signing any of your rubbish players referred to in your article, although you do have some very good players that I wouldn’t mind us signing such as noble. To be honest I think we’ll both have trouble signing top players next season - I don’t see anyone falling over themselves to sign for west ham, so perhaps you ought to open your eyes a bit and join the rest of us in the real world
June 9th, 2008 at 12:23 PM
Hilarious. I expect this article was written in some kind of response to three article on a NUFC fansite. One regarding us having ‘No Chance’ of signing error prone centre back Steven Taylor after reports ridiculously linking us to him, and then two subsequent articles labelling Dean Ashton “Fat Boy” after you were ridiculously linked with him. Three articles in a week about our club, compared to one on here about yours. There’s your guide to the clubs current standing. To be fair though, currently both clubs are in that group of clubs trying to achieve 5th place. At this moment in time, we are nearer than you. Get over it. It’ll probably change again in 30 years time.
June 9th, 2008 at 1:01 PM
Cheers leonrivers i didnt notice the coys bit at the end of paul t dopey comment, I should have guessed he was a spur
June 9th, 2008 at 2:01 PM
My shed is bigger than upton park, who in their right mind would want to play in the dump every other week? Its scary.Even in the robson era, if bellamy finished 20% the chances that were laid on for him he could have finished top scorer, and he was hardly prolific at liverpool. haha and you paid 7.5 mllion for him! Works out just under a million for every prem appearance last season? Astute businessmen.
Parker has a hell of engine, gives 110%. Remember the nufc gooners game at SJP? He was awesome, but thats the thing, what he lacks in ability he makes up with effort. Hes not even as technically gifted as bloody joey barton! Who will also be available after his sentence if you wanna snap him up too?im sorry but dyer promised so much at 1 point (8 years ago)but probably because of injuries has achieved sweet FA. Ive watched him play many times and just think, why do we bother keeping him? We all saw what kind of a person he was when he threw down the armband and the fighting incident against villa (plus enduring seasons of injuries and enept performances doesnt help his cause)West ham are going to be around the danger area next season you mark my words! Theres nothing id like to see more than you go down and still play against teams with better stadiums in the championship. Bowyer is shitThanks for the rant
June 9th, 2008 at 2:47 PM
Shouldn’t you silly cunts wait until the transfer window is over before you say that Newcastle (or whoever) cannot attract players.
June 9th, 2008 at 3:04 PM
To the inbred who decided to title me as a c..t, its a shame there idiots like you that neither have a brain or can’t unglue your fat backside from your pc chair. Grow up doughnut
June 9th, 2008 at 4:22 PM
very sad Stu, must not have much better to do with his time than to write about newcastle united, lets be honest you don’t have many players queuing up outside of upton park to play for west ham, gudjohnsen turned newcastle down, can’t say i have seen him parading his west ham shirt yet.
June 9th, 2008 at 6:15 PM
well said leonrivers, yu hit the nail on the head
June 9th, 2008 at 7:40 PM
“We all know that, when fit, there aren’t many better than Kieron Dyer”
Quite frankly this is bullshit. The guy has been trying to live up to his “promise” for years - he’s a spoilt little twat who threw away any footballing ability he once had for diamond studded earrings and hummers.
June 9th, 2008 at 7:43 PM
I shall remember to avoid diamond earings and Hummers to ensure my groin remains uninjured and I never break my leg.
Nice work, Einstein.
June 9th, 2008 at 7:56 PM
Its not just Boring old Newcastle, its their Neighbours too BoroAnother article, which degrades the North East HERE Harper has got good sense, says he would choose West Ham rather than a NE Club.As for this guy named dave hall is a c:)t saying his shed is bigger than Upton park. A shed in East London is worth more than a house in Nerdcastle.
Land value is 5 times what it is in the NE
June 9th, 2008 at 8:00 PM
Harper :(If we sign him, I would hope there is better coming in and that he is just for the squad. Not exactly good enough for where we’re aiming to be.
June 9th, 2008 at 8:01 PM
Its nowt to do with his injuries - I watched him play a lot and my opinion of him was he got sucked into the lifestyle, rather than concentrating on his football, like a lot of toon fans I just got pig sick of his total failure to act like a pro, on or off the field - he was always on the piss down the quayside, or messing about with slappers, it doesn’t take an einstein to work out that isn’t a good idea for a professional athlete. I am not saying he should be at home in pipe and slippers but I remember Cantona talking about getting down the training facilities and just practicing over and over again, Dyer was too busy indulging in muppetry of the highest order - I would take Solano over Dyer and that type any day
June 9th, 2008 at 8:20 PM
I personally don’t care what the toons say when they keep ranting on about how our players are newcastle rejects, I just wish they would change the record. Bellamy is a class player, as to is parker and Solano.
