In a pickle if we are fickle
Looking back at the past, and having my moments of scars being reopened, I can understand how we all feel-especially after the last two years. But, after reading many comments on sites, and having a few of my own, I look back and see that the one thing many of us hammers don’t have, that we use to have …solidarity.
Yes, we all have opinions to give, and that’s what it is all about; But we have to stay strong as fans and back up what we all believe in…West Ham til I die.
For a long time us fans and our club have been through the good times and the bad times, and have always stuck together. Let’s do that now. Because we need to do something that some other clubs can’t do-and that’s be patient and realistic. We are not a fickle club by rule, so let’s leave that to those with delusions of grandeur.
How time will come.

How very true,i agree with every word of that but would just like to have seen some WHUFC activity in the transfer market already in stead of reading/hearing about all those rumours…Come on CURBS lets get sorting out the team for next year

Couldn’t agree more but unfortunately I’d now expect to see a whole load of abusive and angry messages to follow…

Headless chickens have only a limited life span. I believe we have a good team and a good manager. Let’s get behind them and start the new season with a roar. Looking at the fixtures I’m expecting 24 points by the time we play the Gooners!

Yep, great sentiment I agree totally. We all know how frustrating the last year has been (the last 28 years have been pretty frustrating actually!),and I’m not a Curbishley fan and never have been, but let’s all try to take stock and get back to when we were the best football fans in the world (The FA Cup Semi against Forest where Galey got sent off and we outsang the Forest fans througout the game despite losing 4-0 comes to mind!). Let’s have less of the boos at UP as well please and certainly let’s cut out the booing and slating our own players during the games, that’s so counter productive and de-motivates players. I can’t believe some people were abusing Ashton last season!! OK so he had a few games where he did not look like he was running as much as we would like, but having a pop at him verbally is only going to make him less likely to work hard for us. It looks like almost everyone is fit for next season (at the moment) and I think Deano and Bellamy will want to repay the club for sticking with them through their injuries so it could be an exciting season.
