Police Question Rio Ferdinand

Every time the words Police, Violence, or Punch up is mentioned in the media, then the word West Ham has to be associated with it.

The latest little saga is Rio being questioned by police after leaving a nightclub in Tel Aviv at 5.30am after a photographer was assaulted, Anton was also with his brother whilst being questioned. No charges were made by the photographer. But the Sun Online quoted:

A photographer claimed he was punched as the Manchester United skipper left at 5.30am with holiday pals.

We have old ICF members having movies made about them, a welsh lout wrestling with a charity worker, and now these 2 idiots accidentally being on the scene of another punch up.
The problem is that kids today think of these guys as heroes and mimic the actions that these so called heroes make.

It needs to stop, and we need to stop glorifying it.
I want to feel at ease when i walk with my 11 yr old son to Upton Park, not worry about being stabbed or threatened because some down and out junkie wants my mobile phone.

It has to stop. I put an article up some weeks ago about how my mum was driving in Green st after the last game of the season and how she was caught in the middle of trouble, and it was well after the game finished. What made me sick was that some idiots on other sites were taliking about the incident as if it was ok. These morons have nothing to do with what football is all about, and never have done.

I think Hooligalism should not be allowed in the game of football , football should not be a win at all cost thing it is all about entertainment

Hey , I am the admin of soccerfanbase.com I would like to know if you will like to do a link exchange with my site or if you would like to go into a partnership that will see other West Ham United fans join the site while I can do the same for you…email me and let me know

What a surprise! I don’t care about Rio, he ain’t our player anymore, but Anton seems to be just as bad. As much as I think he is a good player, surely his arrogance and bad personality is not good for our team/squad/club as a whole. Get shot of him, and get some professionals into the squad, who can teach the young players how to behave.
