Well for all those Newcastle fans claiming Mikel Arteta is on his way to the geordies need to return to planet earth as why would one of the most highly rated players in the Premier League choose to go and player for a lower half of the table team: S Newcastle will however sign Matthew Etherington from the Hammers and Andy Johnson from Everton. Expect to also see one or two top quality mid fielders to sign in a hope to challenge the big four ( Arsenal, Chelsea, Everton, Man U) It is however true that Liverpool are interested in shay given as back up for Reina.

Believe it when i see it. I should think the only truth in your article is that Arteta won’t be going to Newcastle

Be about as successful as your Argie revolution 2 years ago. Guilherme is going to Porto for a start so thats b*llocks. Why would the other 2 sign for you? look at the mess you made of the Tevez & Masherano signings, you completely wasted Masherano, one of the best DM’s in the world but not good enough for your relegation threatened 1st 11, how’s that work? hahahaha same thing will happen again

Yid0, go back to your north London hovel and watch that cockrel crap, you’ll still finish below us next season. As to this, we’ll just have to wait and see but must admit it would be a big surprise and major coup.

what you idiots seem to forget is that us hammers fans are just as pissed off as you that mascherano didn’t work out for us. it was either crap management, or some kind of contractual/financial element regarding his appearances. it was a complete waste of a world class player. at least the tevez signing worked out better ;)

Etherington signed a contract with West Ham back in January  that expires in 2012, so him going to Newcastle is a no at this present time.

i’d put good money that kia will bring a few south americans to the club this summer. Having kia and nani at the club bringing in these sorts of players surely means we arn’t going for players like harper, surely.

Dave, I heard a rumour that Etherington’s off-field problems have returned, and that is why he didn’t play in the run in. If that is the case, I can quite easily see him going, if we can find someone to take him.
