Wakey Wakey Curbs, Smell the Coffee!

Am i alone in thinking Curbs is asleep? didnt he have enough sleep during the second half of last season?

Transfers are flying about all over the Premier League, and Spurs making some decent signings, Ramos is obviously a manager that has the foresight to get the right players to push his team to a better level next season.

What is Curbs doing? ermmmm not a lot, are we to wait until the end of the transfer window to beg a couple of players again at ridiculous salaries to join us?

Where is Nani? not 1 word has been mentioned about him in the last 2 weeks, is he joining us to buy players or get rid of some of the crap we already have, we are taking too long to buy, we as fans need to hear news soon other than the rumours that fly around the blogs and media sites.

And what is happening about the new stadium? again another fart in the wind, if your going to make promises BG than the worst fans in the world to let down would be West Ham Fans, WE forgive but never forget.

C’Mon Yu Guys Wake up, or ship out, take your pick!

Whats going on, Nobby gone, Ferdinand dosnt know whats happening, Kia Joorabchin bringing 3 Brazilians over and Curbs still has his head up his backside, im getting so confused, what is worrying me, is Joorabchin ready to buy West Ham…….a word has it …….yes he is, thats why he dropped a law suit, and got a job at Upton Park, to test the water……and to be honest, im worried.

Don’t be daft. How can we go out spending money when there is a chance (albeit slim) that we have to give a shedload of dosh to the Blunts? I know it won’t happen, you know it won’t happen, and they probably know it won’t, but for now they have to budget for it. Be patient, the management team is just being sensible.

Apart from Spurs, no one has done any real decent business yet. Most players are away on holiday and alot of the decent players will be involved in the Euros and want to concentrate on that.I don’t imagine that much business will be done until these are over as most transfers are dependent on other moves happening.I don’t imagine that Nani and Curbishley are scratching their arses but do show signs of getting their house in order so that they are ready to move as soon as the time is right.

To CURBS OUT - How the hell do you know which are plastic fans and which aren’t just by reading their emails??? Just because someone doesn’t agree with you doesn’t make them a plastic fan. It simply means they have their own opinion! Chill out FFS!
I was born and raised in Leytonstone have been a season ticket for over 20 years but do you really think that there are many local WH fans in east london anymore??? Have a walk down green street and you’ll get your answer. If you wanted a fanbase of purely east end fans there’d be about 100 of us in the ground!
Our fans are now mainly based in Essex and other parts of the south east but that doesn’t make them any less important than those that live closer to the ground and it certainly doesn’t make any of their opinions any less valid.
Save your arguments for the yids and chelscum - don’t turn on your own!

Annoyed…You got your head up your arse too then??  We still for some reason havent got rid of Cole, no-one ants him, LBM, couldnt give him away he’s that bad will once again miss out of decent english players sounds like you should be supporting the other claret and blue they’ll get the decent young talent and we will finish 14th-17th next season with everyone who pathetically defended that prat Curbs then moaning he should have got fired before the season kicked off, he’s done nothing positiv for the club and never will, he acheived nothing with Charlton other than putting them in a relegation position by his pathetic negative tactics small and narrow minded style of management and he WILL do the same to the Irons so STFU!!

Much as i like Curbs but i think the problem is himself it seems like no one wants to play for him. He cant seem to get his hands on anyone, could others tell me what they think of this.

A few idiots on here, isn’t there? As has been mentioned, Spurs are the only side to have done any business and yes they have done well in signing Modric, but whilst the Euros are on, very little business will be done. You also have to understand that to sign a very good player (the type we all want at West Ham) you have to wait until the Champions League clubs have done their business. All the good players want to play in the CL. If they don’t get picked up by a CL club THEN we can go for them.I, for one, am happy that we are doing our business behind closed doors. Much rather that than advertising our targets and alerting other clubs to those players availability like Manchester City.Chillax.

@LeonRivers.. oh i see what you mean, we do what we did last season, and get the best players after the top 4 do. didnt we do so well last season then, i think you have made yourself look like the biggest idiot LeonRivers.
So the Spurs are idiots too, they didnt folow the rules like we do, they bought a player that any one of the top 4 would love to have, am i still an idiot?

curbs is an arsehole, and will take us down next season, we have at least 10 championship players at our great club and we have to get rid of them first before we can buy so what does he do he gets rid of nobby our most influencial player last year tells anton he`s not wanted and touts freddy to any club he thinks might want him. the best thing gb could do this summer is get rid of the inbread charlton scum and get bilic at the helm coyi

Gosh, same old crap every year! Moaners and PMT sufferers slagging off the management. For your interest, Curbs performed a miracle to keep us up two years ago, and got us top 10 last year with half the squad nobbled, which at the start of the season, 90% of fans were saying would be a good result..consolidation in the Prem. All this fcking moaning and spitting won’t change the obvious reality…first priority is to reduce the wage bill, and we already know no more than 2 maybe 3 players are coming in.  Anyone who expects more has their head up their arse!

Last season was the most unimaginative football I have ever watched at UP. And I’ve been going since the early 70’s. Solano was one player with a bit of excitement and perhaps if Freddie could settle with injuries he would be too. I think keeping Curbs will be a disaster for the club. I was totally against him coming and then almost ate my hat after his first game in charge. I think that was the only moment I ever saw any enthusiasm in him. After that it was awful. And people say “he kept us up”. Well we were in a pretty bad position when he took over…..but he then made it much worse! And escaped by the skin of his teeth. Last season was so bad who will want to sign and play under him? CURBS MUST GO

Steady on guys we have to be patient with this. There is plenty of time to move out the deadwood and buy in the right players and this will happen. Despite his deserved criticism for last season, Curbs is no mug and with the help of Nani (where is he by the way?) my guess is that they are working hard behind the scenes right now, or will be when they come off the beach! In the meantime the number of rumours in the media continue to rise because most clubs are doing the same as us-waiting. I am expecting some great signings later this summer.

For all of those of you with short memories, just over a year ago we almost got relegated. In 2008 with a massive injury list and a dreadful end to the season we finished 10th. Almost without exception WHU fans would have taken 10th this time last year and to finish above Tottenham. We should improve to about 8th next season and if we do, and the youngsters come on we have a chance to challenge for 6th in 2009-10. How bad is that? The trouble with a lot of so called fans on the websites is that they are a) fickle, b) impatient and c) negative. Guys like GJF spout rubbish and abuse all the time. Sure they have opinions but what West Ham need now is a bit of solidarity. The rubbish will get cleared out and we will sign new players. I am not a great fan of Curbishley but can the boo boys please give him a chance next season and stop talking absolute bollx about Di Canio and Bilic becoming managers? It won’t happen and if it did, I certainly wouldn’t renew.

Same old story though, we do this every year. Wait until the last minute and end up with players like Quashie. The trouble I have is that I don’t think Curbs has any pulling power, his dullness is legendary. I also reckon BG feels like he has been bitten the arse and is losing interest in his purchase. It’s gonna be a long wait

I’m not going to say to much on this or I’ll go on all day, all I will say is - this situation with the manager being second rate with regards to signings  and lack of information from the chairman is really beginning to **ss me off.
With the atmosphere the season gone as-well I feel West Ham has lost a-lot of what made it so special and unique for me AT THE MOMENT and it hurts to say that.

Time to get rid of Curbs.Dont like him at all.All he done was do a Charlton on us good start to the season got to 40 points and didn´t seem he was interested after that. One thing surprises me is that no one has mentioned they want that yank twat to go.Spector is an absolute pile of s#%t.Bring Bilic back to Upton park.
