7 CommentsAC is setting up a bid for the Liverpool winger Jermaine Pennant. It seems 
that the ex Arsenal player wants to leave Liverpool in pursuit of playing more first team football.
West Ham’s summer plans in the transfer market are believed to be ambitious, and the acquisition of Pennant would prove that the Hammers have the intent of becoming a top 5 side.
Pennant has found himself on the fringes of a heavily rotated Liverpool side, and has shown spells of his brilliance that was expected of him when he was 16 and signed by Arsenal.
The £6.5 asking price for Pennant may be the only barrier stopping the Irons signing the player.

So, does that mean he will be playing in front of Dyer, Faubert, Ljungberg, and Bowyer or behind them? :-X

Ljunberg’s and Bowyer’s legs have gone, shame we can’t shift them. Neither have a place on the right side, they consistently get skinned and can do no skinning to others, even the most pedestrain left back and opposition winger is in with a shout. If we could shift those two, it would make absolute sense to get in Pennant.

Please god no!!!! We dont need any more thugs in our team. We already have Bowyer and Bellamy. I would rather have Lennon or SWP, Lennon can be class just lacks on his crossing ability, same goes for SWP.

Has anybody else noticed that Pennant cant cross a ball for shit ?

pennant is not 4 sale. he’s almost da best right wing midfielder in england.. he can cross accurately, has speed, can dribble and aggressive. w@ else do u need in a perfect winger? the only problem is that he creates chances 4 others 2 score bt if doesn’t try it. score more goals n u might even get an award
