Behrami Medical to finalise West Ham move
The sale of John Pantsil appears to have made way for the arrival of Lazio right back
Valon Behrami from Italian side Lazio, as West Ham completed the signing of the Swiss international late on Tuesday evening. The player now just has a medical to complete in London, and is expected to sign a four year deal at Upton Park.
Behrami started all of Switzerland’s Euro 2008 matches; and is set to move to the Hammers and activate a transfer clause whereby the club will only have to pay a small fraction of the asking price of Lazio.
It is believed that West Ham will pay in the region of £3.5 million for the defender.

How do you know all this information, that he signed last night and is having a medical today?

If you read the Authors page, one of the authors is an ex West Ham scout, perhaps he leaked it.
Good news anyway, makes Pantsil going sound even better.

Everyone if this is true i believe u should all start jumping up and down cos this guy is a talent and is highly rated. I am a Lazio fan living in Australia so i follow behrami a fair bit , and even other people comment on what a good player he is. We could have one of the strongest right-sides if we could land him as we could alternate him and faubert b/w defence and midfield and i am not exactly sure what is happening with lucas, perhaps if he stays we can throw him in the middle instead b/c he is a good player his speed just lacks a bit. Keep lucas i reckon if possible and he is inspirational. COYI!!!
