The Italian Batallion

All good things come to those that wait, as the old saying goes. And after years of enduring heartache, we finally have everything in place…and Gianluca Nani.

We all seemed perplexed somewhat as to why everything was so quiet when he arrived, and wondered when the ball would get rolling. But as I said before, it’s just a matter of patience that is required, and then we will start seeing much change.

Signing Behrami is just the beginning of more talent coming to our club in the future; much of which will be down to Nani himself. This guy doesn’t mess around and is careful and articulate in what he does and who he wants. So in my opinion we have a man who will be a key factor in the progress and strengthening of our squad, who will be a major part of pushing us forward. Someone who will push our claret n blue batallion forward.

lickquid, this is not by chance sign someone, you only have to look around and see that there hasn’t been that many signings anywhere. It’s just the waiting game and all things come together.

The other thing to be considered is the triangles of transfers going on, clubs waiting for the money off someone buying one of their players so that they can buy someone else from a club that then need a replacement and so it goes on. phew. the other thing is that some clubs leave the playing chicken bit too late and so nothing happens and players who thought they were moving get stuck as may happen with gareth barry.
