The other thing to be considered is the triangles of transfers going on, clubs waiting for the money off someone buying one of their players so that they can buy someone else from a club that then need a replacement and so it goes on. phew. the other thing is that some clubs leave the playing chicken bit too late and so nothing happens and players who thought they were moving get stuck as may happen with gareth barry.

lickquid, this is not by chance sign someone, you only have to look around and see that there hasn’t been that many signings anywhere. It’s just the waiting game and all things come together.

nice post dave, and very true, you did say to be patient only a couple of weeks ago when we was all pulling our hair out that nowt was happening.. you was right
