West Ham and Jan Lastuvka agree Terms
Jul 31, 2008 West Ham News
Seems like this is the best we are going to do this summer, according to Footylatest.com we have just signed Lastuvka
Did we really need another goalkeeper, is green going? i hope not.
The Czech Goalkeeper Jan Lastuvka claims that he has agreed personal terms with West Ham United, and only a medical stands between him becoming a Hammer.
Lastuvka spent last season on loan at Bundesliga side Bochum, and it seemed he would be taking a permanent deal there, but when West Ham entered the frame he decided to take a second look.
The deal looked off when Shakhtar tried to increase the transfer fee just as it appeared that everyone was in agreement, but now it seems they have ironed out their problems.
“We are agreed. If the medical turns out well for me, I move to West Ham,” Lastuvka told reporters.
“I hope everything will turn out well. I am extremely tempted by the possibility of being coached by Ludek Miklosko.”
The English Premier League is the best league in Europe, I would like to fight for the chance.”
It sounds like he will get his chance after all.
