I can only presume that BG has had to spend enourmous sums of money paying Brown, joorachabin, Lungberg and Sheffield UTD and if this is true why don’t they say so and at least then we know that money is being spent. not sure what we paid to have the medical department completely changed but i would be asking for most of that back.Staying in the premiership is worth circa 50million in new money yet to ensure we get that the Board must be aware from last seasons second half that we need strengthenning. It didn’t need to be expensive either if they had acted early, There was players around that were not going to cost a fortune and would of added quality but these, not suprising, have all been snapped up. The only players now available are those that nobody else wanted but we will have to pay inflated prices because teams know it is desperate buying. We should of shiped others out earlier. players available cheap we should of been interested in includeMalbranque, Cisse, bloke that left chelsea for villa cant remember his name but a WHU fan, ginger hair, Shorey total cost circa 20million. If we deduct ferdinand and Zamora and pantsill fees a net investment of only 5-8 million. thhis could of been covered if we had sold mullins, Boa Morte and Cole all of whom would of been more likely to go had these new arrivals come inI am so angry with what has happened, I have never held Curbs to balme, please read previous postings and feel totally sorry for the guy and the abuse he is getting. What can he do, he can only send them out and if they are not good enough and he has no fit alternatives he is buggered.players to target now, (baring in mind limited funds) Doyle from reading, matticks from leicester and someone with flair for midfield, suggestions????????

8 million for Anton,if i was the chairman i would of driven him up there myself…..a titus bramble in the making…..Curbishley wont be there long,he’s out of his depth anyway….bring in Bilic before we go down…we are that bad,the only thing the board have done wrong is to keep curbs,with Tomkins in the ranks Anton was right to be sold,let Nani buy some quality players now and get away from this bland boring gutless football……

I just hope maybe in vain, that we splash the cash and get two or three quality players in before the transfer window closes. We are lacking in quality both in midfield and unfront and now a we are a defender short.Solano was are most gifted, creative player and we let him go! why?The club keep banging on about cutting costs, but we have hardly spent anything when compared to any other premiership team. If you count the players we have sold, it wouldn’t suprise me if we had broke even since the new owner took over. Hardly showing the ambition the have talked about! This during the time when every premiership team are recieving record funds through TV and sponsorships. I am not Curbishleys biggest fan, but I do feel he has done what has been asked since he has been at the club. I just wish it was a lot more stylish!
