The oft-injured players mentioned signed by Curbs, were pretty much all under-valued in the current market. Looking back, even Upson, who many thought over-priced at £6mil. now looks good value. If and I realise it's a big if, Dyer, Bell-end and all had been healthy last season, you'd all have been singing Curbs praises? But lets face it, as fans, we don't care how much it costs, we just want success, so quit whinging about how much he's cost per minute etc. and support the Club. When we eventually get a new stadium, and a bit of European footie on a regular basis, then they'll want to come? Keep in mind how much our rivals for the UEFA cup spots have spent, we'd be doing well to even be in with a shout! A reality check please. He's a has been of a never wazzer. He's scored one or two spectacular goals in his time and became vastly overrated as a result. There are plenty of better strikers out there who would fit in to the team quicker and with more quality. Frankly I reckon he'd be as big a disaster as LBM has been - in fact the similarities in his style of play are uncanny - they both look like headless chickens on the pitch. And if the reports are more than rumours about us being interested in Saha then this would be a further insult from Curbs to us fans after all the injury woes. If true then BG will have to adrress this situation not just for himslef but for us fans aswell.
