Today West Ham will announce Zola as West Ham Manager
Today Gianfranco Zola will be appointed as new manager for West Ham United FC.

Not the fans first choice for manager but with West Ham officially ruling out Bilic and Di Canio i dare say the fans will be happy with such an exciting and talented person like Zola is.
The West Ham fans have missed watching stylish and classy football under the reign of Curbishley, lets hope and pray that Gianfranco Zola will make the team more passionate and exciting to watch as Zola was for Chelsea.

West Ham United last night made Gianfranco Zola an offer to become their new manager. The former Chelsea striker has emerged, marginally, as the first-choice candidate ahead of Roberto Donadoni following a meeting of the club’s board yesterday.
It is hoped, if Zola accepts, that a formal announcement will be made later today (Tuesday 9th), with the Italian attending this Saturday’s Premier League match away to West Bromwich Albion.
The announcement will bring disappointment to the Newcastle fans who were also hoping to grab Zola as manager, but with Donadoni still available there is hope for the Magpies yet.

well he isn’t my first choice….not enough experience of actually managing a club for me. However I think it is exciting to have someone like zola who should hopefully bring back the enjoyment factor at upton park.
one of my other problems is that maybe we just picked the guy who is more likely to be a ‘yes’ man…because let’s be honest in terms of managerial ability surely donadoni is better?

i dont see the point of getting Zola. We might aswell of signed Di Canio. He would bring more passion and excitement to the players and fans.

The board are looking for a “YES MAN” with a good name, i don`t think Paulo quite fits the bill for them, do you ?
