Bjorgolfur Gudmundsson Speak to Us!

Another day has passed and according to most media reports, West Ham United are to be sold on the cheap.

What happened to the promise in a statement made on the club website early this week on the 7th October and stating the following:

“Mr Gudmundsson remains fully committed to the success of this football club and building on the excellent start made by Gianfranco Zola.”

Are you still fully committed to the club and do you have the finances to see West Ham get through the season without going in liquidation, and if not then what will you do to secure this great clubs future?

This club is the love of many fans young and old, we have shed tears of joy and heartbreak, the club is part of our lives. We need security and to be assured of our future.

I agree with this arrticle. And the silence coming out of our club in the last few days is suspect, BG needs to address the fans on this.

Please stop believing everything you read in the tabloids. I like this site but this is going to far. Whufc are not in the trouble that is being widely reported in all the crappy daily’s. I don’t doubt the prospect of a suitor is becoming more realistic, but collapse and administration is rubbish! If that were to happen then we all would know there are dodgy financial dealings at the club look at all the rights tv, players sponsorship, prem money etc. think the red tops are creating hysteria. And as for the fat icelandic crook talking to you (us) it ain’t gonna happen, he’s only ever done one tv interview and the rest of the bullshit comes from Fuxburry and friends….now theres one dodgy bastard!

Nails, I personally don’t believe much of what the papers say, but for many who are worried a little assurance from the owner himself goesa long way. I know someone spoke on behalf of him on sky the other day, but a few words from the man himself, even on the whu official site would ease a lot of tension. The chances are he will sell up, and more sooner than later, because regardless of his best interest for the club, he took a major blow.

A few words from the man himself will mean no more or less than it has done in the past, in my view. Ask Curbs if he’d be reassured were BG to come out now and say that everything in the garden is rosy. In any event, the track record of this board is that we’ll be the last to know, not the first
