Bolton Fans show disgust at Gartside’s Claim
For those who read the earlier post on COYI today stating that Gartside is an absolute idiot for his claims that West Ham robbed Bolton of 3 points for fielding Tevez in the season 2006/07 game at Upton park will have noticed the comments made from various Bolton fans showing their disgust at Gartside.
1 Comment from Richie B says:
I have been a bolton fan all my life, and I have to totally agree with all the other comments. Cartside is an absolute disgrace to the club and the term “football”. Scores should be settled on the pitch, and not in boardrooms/courts where greedy chairmen look for any excuses to line their pockets with even more money. Goes to show what poor character Gartside has as he is now considering selling the club to overseas investment, even though he has spent all his “professional” life ridiculing foreign investment. Let’s hope we do are talking on the pitch this weekend, and have a good game for once.
It is good to see that the Bolton fans have far more intelligence than their chairman, and that football is for the fans and not the courts.
West Ham United v Bolton Wanderers should prove to be a great match and a win for either club will be more beneficial than a measly £700,000 would ever do.

Lets see - who plays who at the weekend? Possibly a bit of winding up going on here? And you’re daft enough to fall for it? Dear oh dear.

It’s great that all these Bolton fans have said what they think about all this, I should be able to sue West Ham ‘cos I’ve supported them for thirty years and they’ve put me through heartache and tribulation for most of it.
Sheffield United should just fuck off and carry on trying to stay in the championship. I’m sorry but all this has gone far enough. They went down because they were not good enough to stay up. It is only my opinion but I think their chairman is a cunt. Hopefully he will sue me because I have compelling evidence to support my opinion.

As a long term die hard West Ham fan, I have to congratulate Bolton on coming to Upton Park and battling for it, West Ham looked to have no invention, no imagination and no fkn idea how to break down the five man midfield of Bolton, on the odd occasion we managed to get anywhere near the Bolton goal again the ideas and determination seemed to dry up, the only plusses for me out of this game are Etherington and Ilunga. Etherington has been a work horse for years now and Ilunga played his heart out. Other than that though I have to say the rest of the players just didn’t seem to battle for it, Parker wasn’t his usual self, Noble was the same, however this doesn’t take away the fact that Bolton battled for it, look at the pressure they put on our keeper which forced the errors for the first two goals. We went to sleep for the free kick and third goal. When their keeper spilled the ball there were no Hammers near him to pressure or follow up…….you can all flame me now if I’m wrong..but then again I guess I shouldn’t be surprised this has been West Ham for as long as I can remember - what is it, is it in the short or something, we can raise our game for the big boys then take it easy against the so called “Lesser sides” and we ALWAYS get punished for it, West Brom, Watford, Bolton, just beat Fulham, being honest I think Hull are going to beat us along with Arsenal and Man.U……five defeats from seven games in all competitions, lets see how Zola reacts.,
