What a Player! 150 Games for West Ham United and Improving

Tomorrows game against Hull City marks the 150th game that Mathew Etherington will have played for West Ham United after joining the Hammers in 2003 from Spurs for an undisclosed fee.

We have seen a great improvement with Ethers under the influence of Gianfranco Zola and Steve Clarke and even to the point where many fans think Ethers is good enough for England.

Ethers is pretty certain to be included in the game against Hull City on Sunday and an early goal by the Hammers could be what ends Hull City’s magic start of the season and push West Ham into the top 3 or 4.

West Ham are only 2nd to Man City for Goals scored in the League which shows we have the players that can get the Goals.

My Prediction is Hull City 1 - 2 West Ham United

Ethers is one of my favourites and he surely has got his game together on the pitch. Let’s hope for his own sake that he gets his off-field stuff together too.

It could also be the 200th appearance of Hayden Mullins. Shame you didn’t mention that too

the thing i love about matty is when he’s making a run and up to terminal velocity with the ball, only a foul will stop him and the resulting free kick is usually in a dangerous position. now if we could only find someone in the team who will consistantly take good free kicks, we’re sorted. sorry noble, it just hasn’t been happening lately, maybe we could give behrami a trial run at taking them.
