Liverpool have a chance of moving back into first place when they host West Ham United at Anfield Road tonight.
The Reds will have to do better than in their last two games though, a goalless draw with Fulham and an uninspired narrow win over Marseille.
Liverpool are without Spaniard Fernando Torres, who suffered a new injury and should again be replaced with Robbie Keane. Fabio Aurelio is out with a calf injury.
Hammers coach Gianfranco Zola has a fit squad to work with.
Bellamy will be eager to score against his old club and prove to his old boss Benitez he was wrong to let him go.

Sears is hoping for a start, and if he does then this could be the match that could set him on his way as a regular for the Hammers lineup.
Sears said to WHUFC.com:
“To play at Anfield is great, the atmosphere alone is unbelievable,” he said. “I played there for my school, at under-14 level, so it will be great to go back there now with West Ham and as part of the first team. I am looking forward to it.”
“It was not the greatest of games at Sunderland, but it was a good win. All the team have stuck together. Lately, we have been playing good football but not got the results. Hopefully we can push on now and take this into the Liverpool game.”
Matty Upson will no doubt be relishing this match to prove once again he is one of Englands elite defenders and deserving a regular place in the England squad.
It is possible for West Ham Utd to come away with 3 points providing they play hard attacking football, we should never settle for a bore draw and defend the whole game.
Liverpool Players and fans will see a new West Ham tonight under Gianfranco Zola, and this game could prove to be a real shocker for the reds tonight, keeping them level on points with Chelsea and West Ham United back into the top half of the table in 10th place.

I’ve seen a few threads where Hammers fans are saying they are going to get tonked.I doubt this very much. Yes West Hams form up until the last couple of games hasn’t been great, but Zola knows what his is doing, and performances are starting to turn.This game might come a little too soon for a West Ham win, I think but I think it will be a lot tighter than a lot of people expect.I think it all depends on West Hams tactics. If they come to attack and play flowing football, that could be their downfall. Liverpool tend to play well against teams that don’t shut up shop.I’ll give West Brom credit for trying to play football against us, but in the end they were the worst team to visit Anfield and the scoreline should have been a lot greater.Stoke and Fulham on the other hand haven’t got a great deal of quality but frustrated Liverpool and took points at Anfield.It’s up to Zola to perhaps ditch his ideals for one match.
personally, I think we are definitely in with a shout…but then I am ever optimistic!

I would love to see Sears gain some experience from this game tonight, we need to score early to put pressure on Liverpool and then hope they make slipups.
would love to see 4-4-2 against liverpool with sears up front with bellers or even 4-5-1 with just bellers up there alone to wear down liverpool in midfield, then bring on sears and mullins for the last 20 mins. also hope neill gets to play against carragher for some retribution after that stupid cilla toy boy stated in his biography that neill was spared a mafia type hit in a shopping centre by some some of carragher’s entourage ponces. remember, carragher thinks he’s too good to have to play for his country.
