It would be very easy to retaliate against the latest news that Spurs fans are taking the piss out of West Ham United due to our past selling of some great football stars, according to the Daily Mail in this article, but i find it better to help them through what is a dismal season for them.
The West Ham ban on selling players to Spurs is fantastic news, we are all happy Hammers. The ban and our ethical & educated way of bringing class players to our club is proving so far to be very successful under Gianluca Nani, Zola, Duxbury and Clarke and makes excellent business sense.
So Tottenham stop gloating on our past and learn from our present, you may actually learn a thing or two, my advice is make to drastic changes in the way you bring players to your club and get Martin Jol back ASAP.

Great post. Spuds are not only crap they are intellectually challenged., spend millions and get no where – how much for Modric, Bentley, Pav, Defoe etc and still they are way behind us in the league. I would focus on looking at their own xfer policy if were the spuds. Come on you irons!!!

Defoe didnt have any trouble getting into your side as I recall, i should nt think Woodgate,Dawson,Lennon,Jenas,Modric, would have too much difficulty either.

I think the Spuds foray into Europe will be more of an embarrassment than something to look forward to. It is also clear to see that Redknobs magic is clearly wearing off while the Zola-Clarke magic is getting stronger every game. Our greatest and most satisfying win over the last few years was definitely the one that kept THFC out of the Champion’s league. So there is a policy of not selling players to THFC ? And?? When was the last time they sold a player to their ACTUAL rivals?? Their one decent homegrown player walked out to join the Arse and pi**ed all over THFC. A round of applause to Sol Campbell who got out so he could play in a proper football team. How much have they spent in the last few seasons???? From a true Spurs fan this article is spot on we need to seriously change our scattergun approach to transfers.
Spurs should definately learn from us, we have a great academy that is always producing talent that has gone on and proved their quality at the highest level. When was the last time spurs produced someone through their Academy? King? Stop throwing money away, get settled and you might find yourself back up in the top half of the table with us.
