A ‘Well Done’ to the board and Mr Duxbery for a change!
By way of balance, after my last post, I was prompted by an advert on Talksport to record a vote of thanks to our board in respect of reduced FA cup ticket prices for the ties against Barnsley and Boro, not to mention free coach travel to the ill-fated away replay in the North East. £15 my FA cup tickets cost me this year, oh and a fiver for the boy.
The ad went along the lines of ‘come along to the emirates and see the arse vs Hull – tickets from £38.50 and subject to a £2.10 (!?!) booking fee….’
Personally, I hope the thieving toerags get 25,000 attending and then lose.
Incidentally, what the hell is it with these ‘booking fees’?
Anyway, well done to the Hammers hierarchy. Here’s keeping fingers crossed re no price increases for 09-10 season tickets………….

NEWSNOW
I think the board have come to realise that even West Ham’s die-hard supporters are finding things difficult, so it would have ben fool hardy to further abuse their loyalty by making the prices any higher.
But I’ll reserve judgement on their benevolence until I see the price of my season ticket next year. For the first time in 15 years, the price will be my determine whether I renew or not.
Well done also to the board, but I wouldn’t hold your breath for a prize freeze next season.
