Green Street Hooligans 2: Stand Your Ground – Trailer – Chelsea, Millwall.

Following the deadly climax of “Green Street Hooligans,” several members of the West Ham firm and numerous members of Millwall end up in jail. The GSE quickly discover the brutality of life on the inside, as they are constant targets of the superior numbers and better-financed Millwall crew. Football on the inside and out is followed fervently by the prisoners and wins and losses by both are quickly followed by punishment or reward. This could mean a beating or an extra shower or a day of visitation, which inspires extreme behavior. When overcrowding compels a need for the early release of a fortunate few, fate brings West Ham and Millwall together again this time on a Pitch. The stakes are the highest they have ever been for all concerned with death or freedom quite literally a goal away. Game on.

Why even mention this pile of rubbish? You are giving advertising to a film that has NOTHING to do with West Ham United FC and frankly is an embarrassment to us. Furthermore, if the trailer is anything to go by it may well qualify as the worst film of all time. It appears to be a poor cross between Mean Machine and Prison Break. What has a prison in Arizona got to do with West Ham, Millwall and Chelsea fans

    Why “glorify” it ?

I watched this film a couple of nights ago, and how Tony Hammer can say it has nothing to do with West Ham is insane, it also has scenes about Chelsea and Milwall, obviously Mr Tony so called Hammer has never seen the film.
To be honest the film is not worth going to the cinema to watch, it has a seriously bad story line and some of the violent scenes are hilarious. wait a few months then rent it for £2.00 and have a laugh with your mates.
As for Mr Tony so called Hammer, don’t judge a book by its cover sunshine, know your facts before you write anything, better still, do us all a favour and just moan at your wife and kids.

Tony so called Hammer 2/10 (Sympathy vote)
Green Street 2 5/10 for making me laugh.

  • I saw the film last night and like Gypo, i too was wetting myself laughing.
Nazi Chelsea fans and racist Millwall fans, made us hammers fans look like angels. lmfhao.
still worth watching though, i know the yanks are going to love this film, the Columbus Crew Hooligans will think its real life.

Just seen the film this morning and was suprised that it was even better than Green Street 1,,,which was of course the worst film of all time. At least they used genuine cockneys this time and mentioned the Palermo away game,,,seriously bad and thus really entertaining

Gypsy Hammer. Your name sums says it all mate

I has NOTHING to do with West Ham. It is about a fictitious firm. “Firms” in eastern Europe actually think this is REAL and happening NOW with our club. If your interest in West Ham stems purely from the days of the ICF then I can understand the fascination

I have not seen the film. You are correct. I saw the first one and to be honest – in isolation – it was not as bad as I thought it was going to be. At least it was set in London and not in a US jail FFS

It just looks like it is going to be a rank BAD film. Correct me if I am wrong

    Calm down Tony!!

    Its only a Film.. lol

Sorry mate. Got a bit carried away. Films, like football are all about opinions !!

  • GypsyHammer

Very true Tony and i apologise for the remarks i made earlier.. COYI

This does look better than the last one, but that is not saying much. The first one was a massive hit in the States and I guess that’s all they needed to make the sequel. I’d like to see it, should be hilarious.

  • @BIG T: Ive found a link to the whole film here, You can watch the whole film online and its stutter free… Link –> http://www.bigmovieplayer.com/drama/green-street-hooligans-2-2009/ and its pretty good quality.

    Spread the word!!

No thanks Gypsy – life’s too short.

Why have they filmed it in San Quentin though – even the Isle of Wight’s not that sunny. Also, I don’t doubt that most Millwall fans are/should be locked up, but I don’t reckon you’d find enough to fill a police station nick.

  • Big T

This one was casted better for sure. I would also like to confirm that this was better than the movie that came before it. That’s not saying much.
