Was it Goal of the Season? Video Highlights of a goal Zola would have been proud of

It was’nt just the goal but the build up to it Carlton Cole curling it into the right hand side of the goal a shot that any big name player would have been proud of.

The game was bursting with excitement from beginning to end, Carlton Cole scoring his 11th goal of the season in the 34th minute with a fantastic little curled shot around Kirkland, 3 minutes later Cole was sent off for a foul that the referee Stuart Attwell will look at tomorrow on video and then show some slight guilt for his poor judgement.

Stuart Attwell took flack from both sets of fans after he sent off the Wigan midfielder Cattermole, who dived tackled Parker feet first.

With both sides down to ten after Cattermole’s sending off, Noble was just inches away from a second for the Hammers, who suffered another injury blow when Jack Collison was stretchered off, it looks to me like he opened up his knee ligaments which could mean he is also out with Berhami until the end of season.

The game went from end to end, but without doubt the West ham players are showing skills in passing and defending that could see our players being chased by the bigger clubs during the Summer transfer window.

It was a great goal and a great game, the team are playing very smooth passing football now, no wonder Kovac wants to stay when his loan is up. Quality!! COYI
