7th place – a fading dream
Notwithstanding the fact that I’m not convinced that qualifying for the newfangled Europa league is necessarily a good thing for a club at our stage of development and with a small squad, I don’t believe that with the two clowns playing for us up front at the moment, we have much fo a chance of achieving the 4 points that will surely be the minimum requirement from the last two games.
Worse, it looks like we just might finish below the Spurs.
That said, I’m still happy with our overall direction and will look forward to next season with optimism.

I agree, DDM and Tristan will not be able to fire us in to Europe and must not be offerd permanent contracts, however we will finish above Spurs bywinning our last two games.
Everton & Boro are both winnable games. Fulham are the worry. Depends how desperate Newcastle are. Spurs have their own problems. DDM can’t keep his head about him, Gerrard can. We need Carlton back. We showed faith in him, now we need him. We will finish above Spurs.
Playing in Europe will give the West Ham players some international experience and will also give the club a reason for attracting some decent players in the summer signings.
I am convinced we will still finish 7th and will next season be in the Europa Cup.
Guys we just played Liverpool, Liverpool had more desire on the day to win the game and players who are considered the best in the world, lets not be negative about West Ham’s desires and the desire of the players which is next season to be in the Europa League.
