£11.4M for 15 Games! and it Isn’t Freddie Ljungberg

Its good to hear Sullivan speak out about players that really have no future at West ham United.
Kieron Dyer Joined us from Newcastle on 16 August 2007 for £6m, signing a four year deal, i remember the Geordie blogs laughing at us at the time, since then he has only played 15 full games.
Sullivan has made a comment that Dyer should consider retiring to which i totally agree. It is refreshing to know that our new owners actually think as we do about West Ham taking potential crocks on as a quick fix to boost our League positions.
At 60K a week, does Dyer have a future with the Hammers, OK hes done well whilst playing for the Reserves maybe we could pay him £500 a week to play for them! Time to move on and up, im tired of wishing the season was over when its only February, Ain’t You?

i have come to the conclusion that i fu***ng hate Icelandics, what the f*#k are they good for, they fish the oceans to extinction, kill baby seals, whales and dolphins, and then come to the UK and make a right old bolloks up of running a football club, chuck in Eidur Gudjohnson as a token tosser and you have a nation we should be declaring war against, not buying frozen food from. Gold & Sullivan are like a breath of fresh air to all cockney hammers fans.

, im tired of lightweight hammers fans, Dyer broke a leg for us. G n S see blaming and shaming as a way to cover their cheaparses. their is not a single hammers fan out their who wouldnt take £60'000 a month to sit in the reserves.

    • Hardly Lightweight Brain, And to call guys who actually care about our finances as cheaparses is kinda pathetic, and wtf do you mean about Hanners fans sitting on a bench taking 60K a week? im confused what your blabbering on about!

The criticism isnt at Dyer but at the situation he is in. When you take over a company you prune away all the deadwood, and he is exactly that. Yes a decent player when fit, but never fit, ergo not exactly a decent player! Same as Ashton. If you arent fit to work then retire or go do something else. Dont just sit around helping to bankrupt an already struggling club. Sod 60k for sitting on the bench. I’d take the 500 quid and all those free massages thanks very much! :)

i ahve just worked out roughly what 5 players have cost us over the last few years and what we have actually got from them. Please correct me if i have any figures wrong….

    Dyer – £11.4million

    Freddie – 80k a week – + 3 million transfer = 7 million total.

    NIgel Quasie – 30k a week + transfer (about 2 million?) £6.6 million total

Ashton (adding up just the time he was injured) – 50k a week. plus £7million transfer – roughly 10million

Carlos Tevez (what seems like only a dozen or so matches) 100k a game – 6 million fine plus 25m to sheffield united – total 33 million

In total those 5 players cost us £68 million. If only we had that to spend on players now…..
