ALAN CURBISHLEY LEAVES WEST HAM - LIVE CHAT-

UPDATE

Curbishley has resigned from West Ham. Why would he do this? constant criticism from fans and players, he has constantly stood his ground and said he will carry on to make the club a success, but after the end of the summer transfer window and the fact he had no control over his team, he decided to call it a day.

No Room at West Ham for Traitors

Most West Ham fans could never ever think of betraying the club we love and be jealous of any other club.

Man City, New owners with money coming from bottomless pockets, buying players at incredible amounts of money and with promises from their owners there is more big signings to come, now stop and think! you cant buy success, it has to be earned by hard work and players who wear the badge with pride and not thinking of the pay cheque for £150,000 at the end of the month.

Many West Ham fans showing anger and jealousy that we did not do the same as Man City some even going to the extent of saying they are losing their love for the club, a football club is a business and any business that has suffered as much as West Ham have needs to be run with strict rules and management.

Myself and i dare say thousands of other Hammers fans could never even think about losing our feelings for West Ham, the true fans would be tested to the limit with anger and frustration but still bleed claret and blue, our children and our children’s children will carry on where we leave off and will still show the same passion for a club that never fails to disappoint and makes grown men cry.

My son in law is a Liverpool fan, but are his children Liverpool fans? the answer is quite obvious, they are West Ham fans with passion.

Don’t be jealous of Man City, Chelsea or these clubs, look at Real Madrid and how much they spent and ask, ” When did they last win some silverware?”

Be proud to be a Hammers supporter through thick and thin and if your not then support another club because there is no room here at West Ham for you!

West Ham suspend 2 Employees after recent Incidents

Head of media, Miranda Nagalingam, and press officer Gemma Clarke have been suspended by the West Ham board following incidents that took place on West Ham’s tour of the USA and Canada.

Complaints about the 2 women were made to the club and a disciplinary process is underway.

I dare say kumb.com will not be losing any sleep over Miranda’s suspension, due to the fact she refused Kumb entry to anymore pre-match interviews back in Oct 07 after they spent 4

Success or Not?

Back in March we found out that we would be playing in this years MLS All-Stars game in Toronto, a game that many MLS fans were not too happy about and considered it to be a waste of time, to which i wrote about in this POST.

The tour is now over and the players are all back home, hopefully training. Did the tour work out for us? will North Americans run out and buy a new shirt each season? has West Ham shown the World what a great team it is? Well there is no doubt that West Ham will be remembered for a year at least, the MLS have never had so much media coverage in its 12 year life and already the MLS bigwigs are setting up next years opponents, Wow does that mean that West Ham are as well loved in North America as Chelsea and Man Utd are? its doubtful but we certainly have raised the profile of the club, not in the way we wanted but mainly due to the Crew Saga.

To me, the Tour was a success and West Ham are probably known by 10 times more North Americans than they was this time last year, the US TV ratings for the All-Stars game was higher than any MLS Game played, So well done West Ham United, Lets conquer Russia next season.

6 Days to go!

Only 6 days until we see what kind of West Ham team we will be playing in the new season.

Columbus Crew will be welcoming West Ham United on the 20th July to its 22,555 seater stadium based in Ohio’s capital.
The Crew first joined the MLS in 1994 and from there have proved to be a quite successful club, and was the 1st major league stadium built specifically for soccer, with a 2-0 win over the New England Revolution.

Despite losing its last game on Saturday night to Salt Lake after a run of unbeaten matches, Columbus will be no easy task for the Hammers on Sunday, but then the Hammers with a squad of highly trained professionals that play in the toughest league in the World will also be a force to be reckoned with.

Most of our 1st team should be fit and ready for this pre season friendly and eager to prove to the rest of the Premier League what they have to be aware of starting on August 16th.

For those of you travelling to Ohio to watch the match go HERE for any help you need.
