Appiah: West Ham deal a Possibility

Ghana captain Stephen Appiah has mentioned in the past that if he was to move to a club in England then it would most definitely have to be a club in London.

Appiah now a free agent after Fenerbahce had earlier disputed the ruling and even warned clubs that, they will have to pay dearly if they want to sign him. But the world governing body insisted on its ruling in a press statement last week declaring the Ghana captain a free agent.

There are 3 clubs that are showing an interest in Appiah, West Ham United, Newcastle, and Boro and these clubs are reported to be sending a scout out to watch how the former Fenerbahce ace plays against Tunisia on Wednesday, a game that can be watched live on Wednesday evening from links on soccer-pages.com.

Appiah is not only a strong central midfielder and defender but can also score goals and was once wanted by Harry Redknapp for Portsmouth but the asking price was £7m a fee that Harry did not want to pay.

All 3 clubs that will view him on Wednesday will more than likely make an offer to the player after the match with West Ham more than likely and hopefully being the successful club for 2 reasons, West Ham are a London club that play the style of attacking football that Appiah loves, and also Appiah has many friends in London which includes his close friend from Chelsea and Ghanian team mate, Michael Essien.

Lampard Talking Sense

For gods sake, whats come over lampard?

Actually it was good to hear that he is talking sense for a change, telling the Chelsea big wigs they should let Clarke go.

Steve Clarke has worked for Chelsea’s 1st team coach for 4 years and around another 16 years as a servant to the club and has a great deal to do with the success of Chelsea.

But like every man we all want to reach higher goals in life and try something new, and with West Ham we have a hell of a lot of goals for Clarkey to reach as assistant to another Chelsea legend, Zola.

Lampard was right in saying:

“If he goes to West Ham it will be a loss, but I don’t think you can ever take away a man’s right to do what he wants to do,”

“I think Clarkey has been an unbelievable servant for Chelsea for many years as a player and as a coach.

“He has been an important member of the backroom staff in what we’ve done over the last few years.

“But if he feels he wants to go and do something different – I know he has intentions to be a manager in his own right – you can only wish him all the best.”

Its going to cost West Ham £1m instead of the £5m asking price by the Slave Traders at Chelsea, maybe they should just give the £1m to Clarkey for being everything they asked him to be, Irreplaceable.

Nani eyes South American Super Striker

Gianluca Nani is keeping an eye on Chilean Super-Striker Sebastian Pinto and is willing to pay the £5m asking price from Brazilian club Santos according to The People.

The deal will only happen if Dean Ashton decides to leave, which really looks unlikely, as he just signed a 5 year deal with the Hammers worth £13m, but contracts in football mean nothing anymore, if a player wants to leave then more than likely the club will allow the move to happen if the fee is suitable, and in Ashtons case, rumours have it that a couple of clubs are willing to pay a heavy transfer fee.

Pinto (The Tank) would definitley be a suitable Read more Nani eyes South American Super Striker
