Mourinho wants success for West Ham United

Under the guiding eye of Steve Clarke, Jose Mourinho believes West Ham will be successful.

Jose believes that 1 day Steve Clarke should and could manage a team in the Premier League and said that at present Clarke is probably a better manager than most in the EPL.

Jose is also pleased that close friends Zola and Clarke have teamed up to manage West Ham and insists they are more like brothers than friends and that Clarke will share his experience from his days as 2nd in command to Mourinho, to Zola.

Mourinho said

“Of course, I’m not a West Ham fan, but with Steve having this responsibility there, I want them to succeed. Steve is a really top coach and a really top man.”

The future for once looks bright for the Hammers, with our New manager Zola and his experienced assistant Clarke that will take West Ham United to where they rightly belong.

Gudjohnsen to Join West Ham, Portsmouth or not so Likely Newcastle?

It seems almost inevitable now that Gudjohnsen will be joining the Hammers.

C’Mon Yu Irons! was the very first with the news about Gudjohnsen’s interest in joining the hammers when he leaves Barcelona, and now his father whom is also his agent has told the media that his his son will be coming back to the Premiership.

Gudjohnsen told the radio station that his close friendship with West Ham’s Icelandic owner Bjorgolfur Gudmundsson and his desire to move back to London made a move to West Ham more attractive.

Transfer News: West Ham would be my First Choice, not Newcastle!

Eidur Gudjohnsen, Star Player of the Mourinho era at Chelsea

Eidur Gudjohnsen spoke on Catalunya Radio and said if he was to leave Barcelona and went to the Premier League, then it would be to West Ham and not Newcastle.
His main reasons were because of his close friends, who live in London and his relationship with West Ham’s Icelandic owner Bjorgolfur Gudmundsson, who has spoken to Gudjohnsen about his ambitions for West Ham and how he would love for him to be a part of the Hammers future.

He said that Barcelona have given him permission to leave and that his agents are soon to start talks with a premier league club in regards to his future.

West Ham’s Manager Alan Curbishley has tried to persuade Gudjohnsen to come to the Hammers since last year and also with the aid of BG talking to the player.
