Gianfranco has had an easy choice to make up front for quite some time now. With basically no choice of strikers, it has been a case of picking Cole and one other, usually Junior Stanislas / the Boa constrictor/ Dyer.
Things are beginning to change now though. We have the genesis of a selection headache. In recent weeks and at different times, both Nouble and Hines have impressed. Diamanti looked in a class of his own last Saturday and is widely being tipped to start against the Mickey Mousers. So, especially with Carlton looking lackluster last weekend, GFZ has some thinking to do.
Personally, I’d be astonished to see any other starting pairing than Cole and the Diamond geezer but you never know, eh?
