Zola
By Thursday West Ham will announce the signings of its new Manager Gianfranco Zola and the sensational signing of the Stephen Appiah (The Tornado)
Gianfranco Zola has been hinted by Kia Joorabchian to be the choice that the West Ham board have made , Kia Joorabchian who is acting as an official advisor to the Upton Park board in the hunt for a new manager, He said to the Media:
“Zola has got a lot of experience in the Premier League as a player and he has built a big reputation in Italy with the U21s,” It is also well known that Zola is Nani and Duxbury’s favourite to succeed Curbishley

Appiah
Stephen Appiah the Black Stars captain flew to London after the Ghana game and told KickOffGhana.com that,
“by the close of the week, I will see where I am going to play my club football.”
and the only club known to have had any talks and medical with Appiah is West Ham, Arsenal manager Wenger has and will not show interest in Appiah according to Gooner Talk because of 3rd party ownership of the player.
Appiah has made it quite clear that his dream is to play in the Premier League and in London.
West Ham are sitting in 5th place and only 1 point behind the leaders Chelsea, the next 5 games will be the big test for West Ham and its new manager and by the end of October we might even see West Ham above Chelsea, how ironic would that be for Zola.
Chelsea fans are excited about West Ham signing Zola but only because they believe if he succeeds in getting West Ham to Europe by at least a 5th place finish, then they will be wanting Zola for manager in the near future, and who can blame them, we have the same passion for Bilic.

As crazy as it sounds this is still a possibility. Kia failed in his bid to buy West Ham in 2006 and still has strong
desires to own the Club.
The out of court settlement, where Kia dropped his £7.1m lawsuit and instead will act as a transfer consultant for the Hammers is a bit mysterious but also probable.
I find it hard to believe Kia would be happy to lose £7.1m or even £1m, and be willing to gain his money back on future transfers to Upton Park, this will take years to even get anywhere near to what he claims West Ham owe him considering not every player he brings to Upton park will be like Tevez or Mascherano and reap the same profits for the Iranian, and we know that BG is suffering from the credit crunch, the new stadium is virtually a thing of the past and the lack of any spending this summer does Read the full story

From The Associated Press
Sheffield United on Monday embarked on their final legal challenge over the Carlos Tevez affair in an effort
to win compensation for being relegated a year ago.
The Blades have taken West Ham to an arbitration hearing and are seeking between £30million and £50million in compensation.
The Coca-Cola Championship club claim the Hammers are to blame for their relegation from the Premier League a year ago, and for playing Tevez, who they claim was ineligible.
West Ham have refused any opportunity to settle before the hearing and insist they have a robust case, based mainly on the grounds that they had provided all the relevant information about Tevez to the Premier League, who then declared the striker eligible after the Hammers had been fined £5.5million for breaching rules on third-party ownership of players.
Sheffield United lost an arbitration hearing against the Premier League last year and this action, which takes place under the auspices of the Football Association, is their last throw of the dice.
The Blades are hoping Tevez’s representative, Kia Joorabchian, may provide some new information that may persuade the latest panel to find in their favour.
Tevez moved from West Ham to Manchester United last summer after Joorabchian’s company, Media Sports Investments, agreed to pay the London club £2million.
The hearing, which is taking place behind closed doors in London, Read the full story

We all know about the Tevez saga, and how Kia wanted more money from West Ham for the loan of
Tevez during the final few games that kept us in the Premiership.
We obviously agreed to some sort of deal, the deal made between BG and Kia, i guess we as fans we will
never know of, but if it was £7m, then it was worth every penny.
BG, being the clever banker that he is, has agreed to pay back the so called £7m, but in installments and
as an agents fee over the next few years, now this is a clever business
strategy by BG, he certainly knows
he could use Kia to bring in more exiting young talent that he owns rights too from South American clubs.
I know i would love to see a mixture of South American talent as well as our homegrown boys playing at
Upton Park next season, wouldnt you?
Take a look at what influences Kia is having on Man City!

Kia Joorabchian believes that West Ham owe him £7.1m for the last 3 games that Tevez played for the Hammers at the end of last season, Cmon Kia , you expect the High court to believe that West Ham agreed to that?
West Ham have dismissed allegations and compensation claims made by Carlos Tevez’s advisor Kia Joorabchian.
He has alleged that the Hammers entered into private agreements without the Premier League’s knowledge to ensure Tevez would be available to play in the final three matches of last season.
Joorabchian has also claimed in papers lodged with the High Court that West Ham owe him a total of £7.1million, which he asserts should have been paid by 31st January.
But the Hammers have dismissed both his allegations and compensation claims.
