Not quite the results West Ham deserved in their last 5 games considering how well the Hammers played, but unfortunately mistakes are made and points are lost, but the Hammers could turn it around by learning from mistakes and continue playing attacking football the Zola way, The return of Parker will be great news for the Hammers.
Everton is not part of West Ham’s difficult run of games. Everton are a good team though, Cahill and Arteta are doubtful for the West Ham game due to injury together with Fellaini will leave Everton’s midfield wide open, so West Ham definitely have a chance to keep it interesting. Everton will be playing with confidence after 2 x 1-0 wins. this match go either way.

Despite the statement from Duxbury on the the WHUFC website, it is now known that another director Gudmundur Oddsson has quit the Hammers board shortly after Mike Lee quit his post as Non Executive Director.
This could easily be due to the fact that the club have decided to streamline or could be signs that the club are on the verge of a possible sale the latter is probably the most popular with West Ham fans.
Duxbury’s statement was crucial, not only to the fans but also potential investors.
The new sponsorship deal now believed to be worth £3m for 18mths from SBOBet.com is regarded as good news and especially if the Premier League allow the Bobby Moore fund logo to be linked with the deal, the BMF Logo could be on new shirts if West Ham can persuade the EPL that they will not be double sponsored.
An ideal situation in the near future would be: BG sells to a Billionaire, preferably to somebody who knows of West Ham United and shows more than a passing interest in the club, and the BMF Logo is always included on new shirts, any debts or compensation owing is paid off leaving the club financially secure and without anymore reasons for slander in the future.

Non-executive director Mike Lee has quit his job on the Hammers board but will still carry on his role as director of communications.
This news will come as a shock to people that know Mike Lee’s background from a previous article:
Mike Lee O.B.E. (Non Executive Director of WHUFC)
When West Ham was first thought of as a club to purchase by BG, he put the proposition to Eggert, who sent 2 teams out to investigate West Ham’s financial status and to finalise a deal, 1 of the teams was Vero Communications LTD which is owned by Mike Lee OBE.
Mike Lee OBE of Vero Communications Ltd is now a director at West Ham and is also an Advisor in the world of communications and sport (UEFA -Premier League - and Olympics 2012) with his experience and contacts Mike will be a key figure that will help to develop the club to its next stage.
Rumours in the media stating that BG is on the verge of selling the club may be true, with Mike Lee stepping down from the board could be the sign of something big about to happen at Upton Park besides the measly £1.9m sponsorship deal from SBOBet.com

An article was written recently on COYI regarding the fan trouble at the Hull game where up to 100 fans were involved in a skirmish at Parkers Pub in Hull.
A West Ham Fan from Essex has been banned from all matches for 3 years by Hull Magistrates Court and has to surrender his passport before any England international games are to be played.

Carlton Cole has admitted he regrets missing out on playing for his fathers national team Nigeria.
In his interview with BBC Sports, Cole who was invited to the join Super Eagles during the first round of the qualifiers to the 2010 African Nations Cup and World Cup caused stir in Nigerian disclosed that he would have loved to wear the green & white jersey.
Cole said:
“I was really daft, My dad is from Nigeria, I would have loved to play for Nigeria but it was not to be because I was not eligible. I’ve played for England U-21 in a competitive competition and captained the team. Honestly, it was hard for me when I got to know”.
“I was disappointed I couldn’t play for my dad’s country, but these things happen in football. Right now, I’m focussing on my career at West Ham and see where that gets me”
“Honestly, I wish I was there but they won’t need me. I always wish them best of luck, the Nigerian team, I know all the players there. It’s a good job if they can get to the World Cup and make a massive impact.”
Cole has recently found new form at West Ham under the watchful eye of Zola and Clarke and could one day and fulfil his true destiny and that is as an English Player playing for England.

A ridiculous headline we all agree, kind of reminds me of the headline Zola to be sacked!!
Sky and Kumb announced announced that Zola is 2nd in line to be sacked, well where is the logic in this? and myself like any other West Ham fan finds any logical reason given by the above sources hard to believe.
Zola now into his 6th week as manager of West Ham has the job of making what some would call 2nd rate players into stars of tomorrow, for example Carlton Cole is much better now than he ever was, even LBM is showing some promise, Neill, Parker, Noble, Ethers, all are playing a much better standard of football and players that Curbs admitted he never heard of, Di Michele and Ilunga are fast becoming hero’s of the hardened fans.
SKY as usual are useless when it comes down to predictions and the SKY TV pundits are always slagging off West Ham United, so if SKY say Zola is up for the sack, you can bet your life that Zola will be around for years and making his West Ham squad into Premier League Warriors.
Who Knows? maybe the Queen will Honourably Knight Gianfranco Zola in the future for his services to English Football.

There are many meanings to the word Rich, Money, Love & Generosity are the only 3 that will make a difference to this worthwhile cause.
Last week 5 West Ham Blog’s (C’Mon Yu Irons! - RapidHammer - West Ham Process - West Ham Daily News BubbleView) and their owners got together and decided to help the Bobby Moore Fund by opening a contribution page on justgiving.com.
Last month over 7000 West Ham Fans signed a petition to have the BMF logo put on the players shirts at least until we found a new sponsor, to which WHUFC sent a statement about the reasons this could not happen, so all i am asking now is will those 7000 people send a donation of £1 or £2 to the Bobby Moore Fund.
We have set a low limit of £5000 to which we have met £60 of our target, you will find 2 links on this website to donate and both are on the right sidebars, 1 is a Justgiving.com widget and the other is the BMF logo and after a donation you can also leave a comment. Please help, Please Give, it will make you feel good afterwards and show that you not only have to be rich with money but also rich with love and generosity for what is probably one of the greatest loves of your life, West Ham United and its greatest ever player Bobby Moore.
All earnings from the Ads and Sponsors from 9th to the 16th October on this site , The COYI Prediction League and all my other sites will go towards the donation

West Ham have won both their games under new manager Gianfranco Zola. The former Chelsea player will try to extend the run when they host Bolton.
A win today will see West Ham go into 1st place, well at least for 90 minutes until Chelsea and Liverpool finish.
West Ham news: Craig Bellamy is pushing for a starting place in the first XI, although it is likely Zola will stick to Cole and Di Michele up front. Dean Ashton is still out with an injury, as is Kieron Dyer. Zola’s concerns will mainly be the defence, conceding a goal in almost every match lately.
Bolton news: Gary Megson who spoke highly of both Zola and his predecessor Curbishley will try to win the game at Upton Park as he has lanuched a health programme at the Reebok Stadium. Matt Taylor will be back in contention despite not having played any reserve game. According to Megson, Matthew Taylor is the fittest player they have. The manager admitted Bolton have had problems winning away but will try to collect at least one point against the Londoners.
West Ham United still have the best home record in the Barclays Premier League with three wins from three and secured their first away win of the season at Craven Cottage last Saturday. Bolton, meanwhile, have the worst away record in the league - losing all three away from the Reebok Stadium.
Our bet: 3-1.

West Ham’s little giant Gianfranco Zola is a quick learner. The Italian is understandably happy with West Ham since he took over 3 weeks ago.
Today, the Hammers play Bolton who are still upset at the way they lost to Manchester United last week, referee Rob Styles has apologised for his stupid decision in giving United a penalty that never was, Gartside will already have his legal team sharpening their knives over Rob Styles bad decision, the only humour i find with this is, the FA are the cause of this ridiculous legal controversy and in doing so have made a rod for there own back.
Last season, Styles also came under fire after he awarded Chelsea a non-existent penalty against Liverpool at Anfield.
The clever guys at the Prediction League give this as a 2-1 win to the Hammers.
And for those who made a small donation, will recieve the quality links to tomorrows game live in glorious quality.

Paul Ince has never been forgiven by the West Ham faithful after wearing a Man Utd shirt whilst still being a Hammers player, today we did not care about Ince and his ill forgotten tendencies but cared more for what Alan Curbishley had to deliver.
West Ham v Blackburn
Today was a day to be proud of wearing the shirt of Claret and Blue, West Ham starting off with an early lead by Calum Davenport scoring in the 12 minute, and then Santa Cruz hobbling after a misplaced tackle in the 18th minute, all of a sudden Blackburn look on edge and struggled to keep up with the pace of Parker and Noble in midfield.
In the 20th Minute a pass from my player of the day Julian Faubert to Noble catches Ashton by surprise and also Samba who left back kicks the ball against Ashton’s inside leg to score, but the goal is classed as an OG much to the disappointment of Deano.
22 minutes gone and West Ham make the sad mistake of being slack in defence, instead of doing what Rio used to do and kick the ball as far as Stanstead Airport Davenport tries to kick the ball back into play, as a result Jason Roberts scores a fine goal sliding past the right side of Robert Green to make a well deserved score of 2-1.
Much of the game went from side to side on a very even keel with West Ham looking the least to score another goal, but when Bellamy arrived with an excellent exchange of players by Curbs you actually knew there would be more goals, and more goals there was, Bellamy in extra time and then Cole putting the icing on the cake to finish West Ham off into 3rd place in the League, Well that was until Arsenal played later.
It was good to see BG and his wife at the game today showing some loyalty and support.
A fantastic result for West Ham, and hats off to Curbs for producing what he promised with a fairly fit squad.
Hence.. do we really need Stephen Appiah?
MOTM Julian Faubert,
For those of you joined Footyhost.com and watched the match in uninterrupted quality, Footyhost.com sent their appreciation.
