It is almost certain that Craig Bellamy will be on his way to Man City by next weekend after presuming he passes a medical which will happen early this week.

Should we feel disheartened and sorry for Zola? of course not, Gianfranco Zola has been assured that he will be allowed to reinvest the proceeds from Bellamy’s sale, and the first player on his shopping list will be his formal Italy under 21 pupil Pablo Daniel Osvaldo at Fiorentina.

West Ham’s Gianluca Nani has been in regular contact over the last 2 months with Fiorentina, and the former Italy Under-21 striker was told that he can leave Fiorentina if they receive a £7 million transfer fee.

If all goes well then we could see Pablo playing for the Hammers before the transfer window shuts on Feb 2nd.
