Tottenham fans were hoping that West Ham United star Slaven Bilic would come to the rescue of the bottom of the table club who have only succeeded in gaining 2 points from 8 matches.

Bilic told 5 Live:

“I’ve been linked with many clubs in England and all I can say is that it is flattering.

“But I have my job with Croatia and that’s all I’m concentrating on.”

Bilic rejected his beloved West Ham’s plea to join them  because he wanted to take his National team to the World Cup and win it but then admitted he would 1 day love to manage the club he adores.

The Spurs fans see Bilic as the perfect replacement for Ramos because of his influence on 2 of their star players Luka Modric and Vedran Corluka and the passion that he sends to the Fans and players alike, very much like Gianfranco Zola does for West ham United

Bilic went on to say:

“It’s hard to believe but a lot of good teams have been in the same position,”

“When something goes wrong, and then you get injures, red cards and bad luck, it’s frustrating.

“I know the situation they are but I’m sure it is going to get better. It’s a massive club and they are going to come back.”

As an outsider and West Ham fan i believe the Spurs problems lay with the players and not the Manager, these players need to gel together and predict each others movements on the field, also the language barrier is cause for concern too.

Media reports are saying that Roy Keane will be making West Ham an offer fo £3m for Boa Morte, now that is definitley a decent offer for a player that just cant get things right at West ham.

I cant understand why Alan Curbishley thinks he has something to offer or the potential to offer something anyway, in some instances, and i mean very short instances he does show some talent, but always manages to fumble a tackle or a pass when it matters most.

We need to let the guy go and at least let him prove his quality to some other club as he surely cant show it with us, it cant be much fun being booed each week by his own fans.

As for Curbs being the 5/1 favourite to be sacked this season, i truly believe that will depend on his first 6 games, and we all know that Slaven Bilic is waiting in the wings to secure his job as manager.

The Italian newspaper 24 Minuti used a photo of Croatian trainer Slaven Bilic to illustrate the news on Macedonian reporter murderer.

ZAGREB, CROATIA – The Italian newspaper 24 Minuti wrongly illustrated a text on the suicide of the Macedonian murderer reporter, Vlado Tanevski, with a photograph of the Croatian football trainer Slaven Bilic. The mentioned newspaper is issued three times a day and is for free.

Beneath the photograph of the Croatian coach there is a text which confirms that the the man in the picture is the Macedonian murderer from the newspaper Utrinski Vensnik, where the criminal worked.

The picture, however, was downloaded from the Croatian site Jutarnji.hr, and shows Slaven Bilic after the game against Turkey. The mistake was probably made because the Macedonian work ‘utrinski’ and the Croatian ‘jutarnji’ have the same meaning (of the morning), and probably journalists, graphics and editors have not been following the Read more Slaven Bilic – Murderer in Italy
